[new launch] Yuzu Bath at Yunomori Onsen & Spa

Thanks for inviting me back to Yunomori Onsen & Spa, the very first and authentic onsen in Singapore. I am glad to be part of the launch of Singapore's first-ever Yuzu Bath, which will only be available for a limited time till 31st of December 2016.

 Apart from the launch of the Yuzu Bath, there are some attractive promotions which I will touch on at the end of this post for your indulgence this forth-coming Christmas! 


As early as the 18th century, the Japanese practised soaking in a Yuzu Bath on a winter solstice day, as they believed that the Yuzu bath can help to ward off winter colds and the common flu.


I am surprised by the benefits of having a Yuzu Bath, as i found that it healed chapped skin, while also leaving skin smoother, more radiant and moisturised. The oil within the Yuzu stimulates the circulatory and digestive systems. It also benefits busy Singaporeans who need to work long hours, as the bath will help them alleviate body aches and back pains, as well as improve blood circulation. 


Beside the celebration of the exquisite Onsen bath, Yunomori Café has also offered a Yuzu-themed menu.


We tried the Yuzu Soda (SGD5+), it is a refreshing beverage that quenches my thirst!


We also had the main course, Yuzu Udon (SGD9.80+) which was served chilled.




 Lastly, I had Yuzu Sorbet (SGD4.50+) to end our meal.  


Beside the Yuzu-themed menu, we also tried out 2 delectable dishes from the café.


Japanese Assorted Platter (SGD17.80+), this platter consists of everything you can find from a Japanese eatery place, such as Japanese pearl rice, Teriyaki Chicken, Saba Fish, pickles, miso soup and etc. 


I love the Chicken Karaage Curry (SGD13.80+) very much, as it tasted delicious!
