[random] ASTALIFT X The Sample Store + Pacific West

I had a simple family dinner gathering at 'Lor Duck', a teochew styled duck restaurant that is located at EastPoint Shopping Mall, to conclude this year's Mother's Day Celebration. While this may not be a fancy restaurant, I always believe that the effort to meet up together is the one that counts! We had a pleasurable experience at the restaurant due to the good service rendered to us. 

My little nephew Hayden, while he has grown up quickly, he is still rather playful and naughty at times. He gave a peckon my Mommy's cheek who is his grandma, and this gesture made her day even brighter! Haha!

During the event, there were a LIVE make-up demo, and coincidentally, my friend Caren was the model of the night!

Recently, I collaborated with Pacific West, and I attended their first ever roadshow at FairPrice Xtra, Jurong Point. They were running their current promotion, Pacific West FOODball Fever, which allows customers to stand a chance to win a trip to a favourite football country, when you purchase any two variants of their products!

During the event, we met up with Chef Geric Law from the Hyatt Hotel, and he did a LIVE demo on making quick meals using Pacific West Products!

We got to try the delicious Cheezy Fish Fillets from Pacific West! 

We had a fun time at roadshow! 

Pacific West has become a caring household seafood brand in Australia since 1995. Pacific West is widely available in Asia Pacific Region, Europe, South Africa, New Zealand and the Middle East. 

About 2 weeks after I attended the roadshow, I was glad to receive a parcel delivery from Pacific West to our doorstep. The delivery consisted of the 5 variants which are now available at any Fairprice outlets, and they are Fish Bites, seafood Combo, Cheezy Fish Fillet, Baby Squids and Cod Fingers. 

I had tried out some of these food samples during the roadshow, and I was won over by them! I kept asking for more samples! I decided to cook the Seafood Combo and Fish Bites for Mum V and Baby to try out as well. I deep fried them in pre-heated oil! One should note that these products should be friend while they are frozen, in order to maintain the crispiness on the outside, while maintaining the moist texture on the inside!

Mum V enjoyed the Pacific West's Tempura Fish Bites which are made from bite-sized of Natural Fish Fillet coated in light Japanese style Tempura batter. It has rich Omega-3 fatty acids which are essential for the human body!

I love the Seafood Combo the best, as it offers an array of Tempura Fish Cocktails, Tempura Prawns, Tempura Calamari Rings and Tempura Scallops. It is a perfect selection to sample Pacific West's range of premium seafood delights in one convenient pack!

I end my post with my RKM's Fri-date, and this time, we settled our dinner at Enbu, Eat at Seven, which is located at the North Wing of Suntec City. The damage was SGD51, and this was my little treat for him for our 117th Monthsary.
