Blissful marriage to Yixiang and Tracy
I am one of the bridesmaids’ squad on Tracy's big day! She got proposed to in September last year, and a year passes oh so very quickly!! They got married on the 26th of October 2019, and Tracy invited me to be a Maid of Honor. Obviously I agreed without any hesitation! Together with Meryl and Linda, we formed 'Team Bridesmaids!'
Needless to say, I had to wake up early on her big day, and luckily
I got my Baby to send me to her place. Girl power yeah! Hahaha!
I arrived at 645am, and both Meryl and Linda arrived around 7am respectively. We started to prepare for the gate-crash challenges for the Xiongdis and as well as the bridegroom.
On the other hand, Yixiang and his groomsmen were discussing on
running the programme to ensure all roles were assigned properly. This detailed
programme sheet was sent to us by Tracy in order to familiarize ourselves with our respective responsibilities. Yixiang and his brothers were ready, and they were about to make
their way to face the gate-crash challenges!
And so were we!
We had so much fun setting up the obstacles for the bridegroom
and his xiongdis. They went through all the motions to enter the house,
especially Yixiang, who showed off his determination to complete the challenges, just so he could see his beautiful bride!
We set off to the Orchard Hotel for the ROM solemnisation and tea
ceremony. According to Chinese Tradition, Tracy’s dad sheltered her with an
umbrella until she reached the bridal car.
Upon reaching the hotel room, we went up to the bridal suite to get changed and to doll ourselves up for the wedding luncheon.
I witnessed the whole process of the ROM solemnisation as well as the tea ceremony. Linda and Meryl were outside with the xiongdis to
decor the photo album viewing area.
OMG! The viewing area looked fabulous with all
the sponsored props.
We enjoyed the luncheon very much. All of us at our table loved
the mantou with crab meat dipping sauce the most.
After the wedding luncheon, Meryl, CK, Baby and I continued our
date at newly revamped Funan Mall. We had lattes at Tiong Bahru Bakery and we
really had endless topics to chat about! Love you girls!
