Dinner at Crab At Bay Seafood Restaurant + Mr Biryani + Yakiniku Go

I met up Meryl and Jasmine for lunch at The Good Boys Café which is located literally on the lower level of her office. We had some hearty rice bowls! Thanks for the companionship on a random weekday meet up!

Sunday is our day to clear out the food items in the refrigerator. Upon checking the leftover stock, I decided to make Tuna Rice Balls for brekkie on Monday.

All we need for this simple recipe is - calrose rice, a can of Tuna Flakes, a packet of Nori Strips and a packet of Furikake. Baby helped me to boil the rice, and I added Sesame oil, soya sauce, sushi vinegar, tuna flakes, mayonnaise sauce and Nori Strips to the cooked rice. I mixed them well before making them into a round shape akin to a ball, and rolled them over the Furikake before serving.

My Tuna Rice Balls were done, and I got a pass from my Baby! I think I will make them again soon...

To most of us, having a crab feast is a luxurious treat, but Baby shared with me that he recently heard of a promotion - 2x500g Sri Lankan Crabs at SGD38 at the Crab At Bay Seafood restaurant which was nearby our house. We were eager to give this place a try as it is located at Macpherson Road.

The star of our dinner, 2 Sri Lankan Crabs @ $38! There were a variety of preparation methods to choose from, namely chili, black pepper, braised bee hoon, butter, salted egg and list went on... Do note that if you only order 2 crabs, you can only choose one preparation method which I felt it was a pity.

We opted for Crab with Braised Bee Hoon. The Bee Hoon had a gentle bitterness and robust earthiness to it.As compared to other braised bee hoon, Crab At Bay’s version offered a drier and less broth. Nevertheless, the crabs were fresh and juicy

Apart from the crabs, we also had Claypot Tofu and Fried Buta Pork. The damage was SGD82 after service charge and GST.

I had a dinner date with Meryl and Chewy at Liang Seah street on a random weekday after work, and we settled at Alley Malatang. It was pretty disappointing as it was overly oily to our liking. The damage was about SGD43, inclusive of drinks.

We ended our night on a sweet note, as we had some sweet treat at Dessert Gallery which is located at Liang Seah Street.

J, H and I had a Friday dinner date at the Grantral Mall, MacPherson. We had a delightful meal together!

Fancy having authentic and delicious Biryani at the enclave of Little India? Why not try eating Mr Biryani! It is located at Chander Road (Little India MRT Station).

Meryl joined us for dinner at this classy and clean Biryani restaurant which serves fluffy Chicken or Mutton Hyderabadi dhum Biryani, as well as other classic Indian dishes!

The Mutton that we had did not taste gamey, was tender and slid off the bone easily. The portions are generous as well, and you are guaranteed a hearty meal which will keep you full!

We combined this with Lime Soda for our drinks, and it served as a good balance to our splendid Biryani Meal!

JJM met up again for dinner at Yakiniku Go - located at Parkway Parade. We went for their regular set instead of the premium, as we felt that the regular set was sufficient enough for us! Add on: Condiments like salt and chili are complimentary and you can ask from the serving staff in the eatery place. We had a pleasurable dining experience.

I end my post with my little achievement of my fitness e-badge from 42Race App!
