Food Tasting at Hong Li Catering

We went to Hong Li Catering's Flagship outlet which is located at Ang Mo Kio Industrial Estate. They offer affordable ‘zi-char’ dishes! We were excited to indulge our tastebuds and experience the gastronomic delight that Hong Li Catering offered! 

The Crispy Pork with Garlic tasted awesome! 


The Fish Steamboat is a MUST-ORDER item at Hong Li Catering, as they use fresh ingredients. 




The broth was so yummy, that I couldn't stop helping myself to several servings.

One of their recommended vegetable dishes on the menu was the Dried Scallop Kai Lan. I loved the crunchiness of the stalks of the Kai Lan! 


The Pork Trotter with Broccoli was well braised, and tasted heavenly!

It been a while since we had a good ‘zi-char’ dinner. Hong Li Catering really fulfilled our cravings! 


We ended our dinner with on a sweet note, the Soya Bean Milk with Grass Jelly & Sago was refreshing!

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
