[Food Review] iVegan + The Space Bistro

I've decided that I want to eat clean and improve my diet to reduce health problem & issues as I grow older. Exercise is one of the good options to stay healthy, but eating clean does a great job too! Therefore, as one of the goals to be healthy, I decided to change my diet to a healthier one!

iVegan has 2 outlets in Singapore. One is located at Thomson Plaza and the other one is located at i12 Katong. We visited the outlet at i12 Katong for a vegan lunch. This vegan eatery place holds a very strong philosophy to serve food that is all natural, plant-based, with no MSG and refined sugar added, and they only use olive oil and pansalt, a low sodium salt!

It is not easy to find eateries in Singapore that serve good vegetarian or vegan food. Perhaps I am too picky when it comes to vegetarian food. First things first, I do not like mock (gluten) meat, which one can find easily at some vegetarian food stalls. I am not a fan of ‘impossible meat’ too.

Luckily, iVegan fits into my criteria, and the eatery place gives a very relaxed, minimalist vibe. Most importantly, the staffs were friendly! Let’s eat clean and eat healthy with iVegan!

I love their wide variety of food selections, and their extensive menu is sure to satisfy any patrons’ cravings. They do offer smaller portions for people like me who cannot finish a huge serving by myself.

We tried Crispy Veg Maki, Hot & Sour Soup, Fried Rice, Fried Kway Teow and Mushroom Aglio Oilo Pasta! Everything that we tried was delicious and packed with hearty flavors.

This Crispy Veg Maki tasted absolutely delicious. The sauces were perfect, and it enhanced the maki and made it tastier!

This fragrant wok Fried Rice is perfect. The edamame, sweet corn, and carrots provided a nice crunch to every bite.

Overall, we were duly impressed by the food at iVegan, as not only are they delicious, but their plating was also very mindful and very demure. We'll definitely be visiting iVegan again!

Thanks Kean & Irene for the invite to The Space Bistro to enjoy some yummy food as well as to play some drinking games! I’m sure that’s the kind of vibes that most people want to have!

We visited both ‘Easy Enjoy Korean Cuisine’ and ‘Charng Thai Street Food’ which was located inside The Space Bistro, a second-floor air-conditioned food court at Toa Payoh North. It gave a cosy industrial vibe. If you head towards the drinks stall, you’ll even find a beer library from various brands. A great place for chillax-ing with friends after a long day at work.

Sharing Platters from Easy Enjoy Korean Cuisine: Korean Fried Chicken & Fried Calamari and some Yakitori Skewers to pair with beers!
