Dim Sum Afternoon High Tea at JUMBO Seafood ION Orchard + Product review - Samanli Bamboo Charcoal Black Bubble Mask

JUMBO Seafood delights diners with an indulgent Dim Sum Afternoon Tea at SGD48++ for 2 persons! Baby loves to eat Dim Sum, and I decided to make a reservation for us to try out the Asian Afternoon Tea!

As Baby’s birthday fell on a Monday, both of us took the day off to spend a well-deserved afternoon at JUMBO Seafood ION Orchard together.

We started off our afternoon tea set with an aromatic pot of Floral Tea - Oriental Beauty with Wolfberries.

Geburtstag Baby and Ich Liebe Dich!

I love the Asian spin concept on the high tea tradition, and the Dim Sum Afternoon Set comes in two tiers.

The top tier contains the savory section which consists of Sweet Yam Paste with Salted Egg Yolk Puff, Lotus Root Puffs, and JUMBO Seafood’s all-time favorite Pan Fried Jumbo Chilli Crab Buns

The lower tier contains the dessert section which comes with Baked Orange Egg TartsBlack Sesame Cake and Molten Salted Egg Lava Mochi. My favorite item from the lot has got to be the deep fried pumpkin shaped mochi with oozing salted egg filling.

Completing the Dim Sum Afternoon Set are crowd-favorites such as JUMBO ‘Siew Mai’ and Steamed Prawns and Spinach Dumpling which were served in a bamboo steamer.

We were given a refreshing dessert, Chilled Lime Jelly with Mixed Fruits to end our afternoon tea session!

Baby is a club member of Genki Sushi, and we decided to make use of his perks during his birthday month. We visited the eatery place on a random Tuesday, and surprisingly, there wasn’t any queue at all! The staff allocated our seats to us once we arrived at the premises. We ordered quite a few random food items! The damage was SGD41-ish after Baby's birthday month discount!

Saturday Dim Sum brunch as usual with Baby and Mum Vi, and this time we went to Black Society Restaurant at VivoCity! We ordered the Boat Styled Porridge and Combination Meat Platter (Roasted Pork + BBQ Meat). We also had some usual dim sum items, and the damage was SGD79 after a reduction of SGD30 voucher which was Baby's birthday gift by his company!

Bubble masks are essentially cleansing masks that clean all the dirt and impurities from your face. I was introduced to Samanli Bubble Mask - a one-step sheet mask made from bamboo charcoal. Oxygen bubbles stimulate the skin to gently exfoliate dead skin cells and deeply penetrate the pores to thoroughly cleanse dirt while maintaining moisture and hydration.

Once you take the mask out and press it with your fingers right on your skin, you will see the pressurized oxygen forming bubbles.

The secret to these bubble masks is that they contain perfluorocarbons, which can dissolve oxygen. Once you’ve put the mask on, the oxygen that has been dissolved turns back into gas, creating micro-bubbles all over your face.

The bubble mask helps to brighten up your complexion, fight cellular damage and potentially promote collagen production in your skin. It also helps to cleanse the dirt and impurities from your face.

Nothing beats chilling out my Friday night with a relaxing mask-ing session with Samanli Bamboo Charcoal Black Bubble Mask. Do try it and see the results for yourself!

I end my post with my dinner at Xin Wang HK Café which is located at Northpoint City. I love spending quality time with my dearest Baby on the weekends!
