Dinner at Double K + Lunch at Chimichanga

To beat my Monday blues, I met up with my girls at Clementi for dinner. We went for some nostalgic western fare at an eatery named 'Double K' for our dinner.


Double K Western Food (Halal) @ Clementi offers a more old-school approach to Singapore Western cuisine and they keep things traditional.


They offer a wide range of delectable dishes, including Western classics, pasta, flavorful chicken chops, and Crispy Chicken. They have a big selection on their menu to satisfy western cravings, making it the perfect spot for a delightful and fulfilling meal.

The overall taste was nostalgic, and these Singapore styled Western delights are generally considered good old-fashioned dishes! All of us enjoyed it very much, and it felt akin to a great dining memory during my childhood days!







Generous portions were given but the price was still affordable and reasonable. The sides and sauces were pretty good too. The Fried Rice with Fried Chicken Wings is worth a try!


If you are looking for Western Pasta in Clementi, do not give Double K Western Food (Halal) @ Clementi a miss!

Baby and I visited the Mexican chain Chimichanga fairly-newly opened outlet at VivoCity that had a resort-like interior inspired by the distinct architectural style of Jalatlaco, Oaxaca City in Mexico.







We ordered Nachos for sharing, and it turned out to be great one! This dish is topped with chicken and salsa Verde over a bed of tortilla chips, and it just left us licking our fingers.


No visit to a Mexican restaurant is complete without tacos and both Baby and I are fans of tacos. We ordered the Soft Shell Crab Tacos, and they were simply YUMMY!


If you’re in the mood for a hearty Mexican feast, then a visit to Chimichanga in VivoCity is recommended!!

I end my post with my dinner date with SM at 锅里香 Guo Li Xiang which is located at Raffles City Shopping Centre! I love the claypot with hotpot concept, and it is also Singapore's First Beef Brisket Claypot/Hotpot!


The food served here was splendid, and I will be coming back again with my Baby soon!
