Food Tasting @ Watami - Central

Baby and I were invited for Food Tasting by Jay, Hall Manager from Watami Ion... We had a sumptuous dinner @ Watami Central...

As everybody knows about the tragic disaster which recently happened in Japan, food supplies were affected and some were banned for consumption and export... Therefore, Watami had changed their menu, and thus both of us were so honored to be invited for the new menu food tasting.

We ordered a glass of Orange Yakult to start with which was followed by a bowl of Sapporo Salad.

As Baby’s favourite Tonkatsu Kimchi Nabe has been lifted up from the menu... So we ordered Sukiyaki Nabe instead... The broth is pretty tasty but sad to say, it's still incomparable to our all time favourite - Tonkatsu Kimchi Nabe... His routine order – an additional bowl of rice to go with the soup.

We ordered quite a number of items from the new menu... We had Anago Maki, Tempura Moriawase and Gyu Tsukune.

Anago Maki tasted normal, nothing to shout about.

Tempura Moriawase

I love the Hamburger Meat Balls... They are well-seasoned and they taste uber delicious.

Thanks Watami for invitation! We had an enjoyable dinner, the attentive of the staff and the service were great.
