Marutama Ra-men

Been patronizing Marutama Ra-men @ Central ever since 2008, this humble eatery place used to be our favourite haunt for ramen, as they serve great ramen and the chicken broth is uber delicious... 2 years ago, they started to expand their business.. Things had changed, the broth has been inconsistent and the standard that I used to expect is no longer there... Since then, Baby & I had stopped eating there especially at the new outlet @ Liang Court...

Baby suggested ramen for our dinner, anyway it's been a year plus since we dined in Marutama.... So we went to the Central outlet. I had the spicy chicken soup ra-men (Nama karashi ra-men) and Baby had non-spicy chicken soup ra-men (Marutama ra-men) The toppings :- A slice of char siu, seaweed, spring onions with the noodles... We added the Ajituke Tamago for an additional $1 each. The runny yolk egg taste pretty good and the noodle is springy...

We ordered Yaki Char Siu to go along our noodles... Taste amazing and a MUST order item...

Luckily, the broth is acceptable this time and we were both pretty satisfied with the food... The damage was SGD37.66... A rather hefty price to pay for 2 bowls of ramen and a side...
