On leave mood - ‘SHIOK’  Both Baby and I took a day off on Monday to spend a well-deserved afternoon at  Min Jiang   Restaurant at Goodwood Park Hotel together.  Baby loves to eat Dim Sum, and I decided to give this eatery place a try! We had the Min Jiang Land and  Sea Quartet which consists of Steamed Prawn and Carrot  and Carrot ‘Rabbit’ Dumpling, Deep-fried BBQ Pork and Pine Nuts in Glutinous ‘Carrot’ Pastry, Steamed Squid in 'Sea Cucumber' Dumpling and Steamed Prawn and Chinese Stem Lettuce with Tobiko ‘Starfish’ Dumpling.  This handcrafted platter was exquisitely done, and my favorite was the Steamed Prawn and Chinese  and Chinese Stem Lettuce with Tobiko ‘Starfish’ Dumpling.  Apart from Min Jiang's Land and Sea Quartet, we also had Steamed Pork Spare Ribs , and Deep Fried Prawn Dumpling , which tasted awesomely good! Nasi Lemak is a simple and classic Malay dish, which is commonly found almost everywhere in Singapore. Every individual stall in Singapore has its own way of preparing it. I particularly like the Nasi Lemak from ‘ The Nasi Lemak ’, where it is located directly opposite Bugis+. It’s my first time dining at 'The Nasi Lemak', and  I was told beforehand that their nasi lemak sold out as early as 2pm. Their signature Nasi Lemak (SGD6) is recommended which consist of a chicken wing, fried egg, fried fish, peanuts and ikan bilis, otak and basmati coconut rice. This set comes with generous portions of ingredients which paired well with their special sambal chilli! There are three crucial components to make a scrumptious plate of nasi lemak, and they are rice, chilli and the fried chicken. As Baby was searching for our next staycation, he discovered a wonderful package offered by PARKROYAL COLLECTION PICKERING . It was an Urban Escape Suite Package which included a two-way transfer arranged by the hotel, Ala carte buffet dinner for 2, Ala carte buffet breakfast for 2, Club facilities access, a bottle of champagne and a body massage at the St. Gregory Spa for 2.   Our gift for each other is a one-night staycation, in order to give each other a well-deserved break from our hectic work schedule. We were glad to check-in to the  PARKROYAL COLLECTION PICKERING to enjoy a one night stay at the suite room! Prior to our check-in, we arranged our transfer to pick us up from Woodlands around 130pm.
