[Hokkaido/Sapporo] Day 03 - Shiroi Koibito Park + Ishiya Chocolate Factory

I am a big fan of Shiroi koibito cookies, and I generally enjoy eating their chocolate cookies. I travel to Japan pretty often, but have never had the chance to visit their chocolate factory. Baby added this in as part of our Hokkaido trip!

After my simple brekkie in the room, we headed over to Shiroi Koibito Park via the local train Tozai Line from Odori station to Miyanosawa station. A 10-minute short walking distance is required to get to the park. The cold weather made the distance seem longer as it was really chilly and the road was slippery.

I took many random photos at the winter wonderland park, and it looked really beautiful, especially the entire park was covered by snow.

The admission to the Ishiya Chocolate Factory cost us ¥600 per pax. We were given a cookie each before we started our chocolate journey with Ishiya.

The factory is not as big as I thought it would be, but it was beautifully designed with many interesting decorations. Our journey ended in less than 30 minutes, and we headed down to the famous Chocolate Lounge/cafe.

We had Shiroi Koibito Parfait, and it was awesomely delicious. It was really worth every single cent spent! Do not miss the desserts when visiting the park even though the price tag is a little hefty.

Before exiting the park, I took more photos. We walked another 10-15 minutes to AEON MALL SAPPORO HASSAMU for lunch. Baby stopped me and took this random photo of me (please pardon my messy hair).

We stopped by Restaurant Kakashi for lunch. After our lunch, I did some shopping and I went to try my luck with the claw machines again...

It was snowing pretty heavy at Hassamu while we were making our way to the HASSAMU JR Station.

Before I conclude my travel experience for the third day in Sapporo, we went to the Pokémon Centre which is located at Daimaru, Sapporo JR Station. I will share more soon...

[random] Youguth Probiotics + Gong Cha Crème Brûlée Strawberry Latte

I was selected to work from home for 3 days, and Baby came over to meet me for dinner after his work. He suggested going out for dinner instead of somewhere nearby my place. He drove to City Square Mall, and we settled at Watami Japanese Restaurant, as it has been quite a while since we last visited this eatery place.

I ordered my favourite Cold Soba with Tempura, while Baby had Beef Sukiyaki Nabe with Udon. We shared the Gyoza and Yakitoro

I love the Gyzoza to the MAX! The damage was about SGD40+, thanks Baby for the hearty meal!

Youguth Lady Charming Up is power packed with 100 billion probiotics and added Vitamin C & Collagen to boost skin radiance. It helps you boost your digestive system and achieve glowy and healthy skin at the same time.

With the convenient sachet packaging for easy consumption, all you have to do is simply flick, tear and enjoy! Thanks Youguth Probiotics Team for smooth delivery!

Bubble tea lovers in Singapore must not miss out on the Gong Cha Crème Brûlée Strawberry Latte. This drink has no coffee in it even though it has the word ‘latte’ in it. I went with 0% sugar, and it still tasted sweet. Oh well, the level of sweetness was perfect for me. Do not give this drink a miss, as it is definitely worth trying!

I end my post with one of my snack loots from my transit in Hong Kong during my Fukuoka holiday. I love the egg tart flavor so much!

Lastly, my humble dinner with Baby at Tim Ho Wan which is located at the Aperia Mall, and both Baby and I enjoyed the BBQ meat bun very much!

[food gem] Fong Sheng Hao 豐盛號 + 'First Culinary' Restaurant

Last week, I worked from home due to my company implementing their BCP program. Baby came over to pick me up after his work, and we went to Paya Lebar Quarter Mall for dinner. We settled at Fong Sheng Hao 豐盛號, a Taiwanese Toast Cafe which originated from Taipei’s Shilin Night Market.

We had one of their best-selling savoury toasts - TW Special Pork Patty. I love the TW Special Pork Patty which came with a thick cut of minced pork patty, and it was tender and tasty.

Apart from the delicious toast, we also had Chicken and Egg Rice Bowl. The damage was a little on the high side, although the food was quite yummy.

Sweetie and I attended the 1st anniversary celebration of Women of Courage Asia which was held at Genius Central, Far East Square.

The ‘Women of Courage Asia’ is a women’s community to courage women to overcome their fear and take courage to to live up to their dreams and be the best

Thanks for the lovely goodies that I received from the sponsors from this event!

It’s another Sunday Dim Sum brunch with Baby and Mon Vi, which I enjoyed very much. After a 2 year hiatus, we revisited the 'First Culinary' Restaurant, which is located within ITE AMK!

We ordered the Century Egg Porridge, and it tasted much better as compared to our previous visit.

The Deep Fried Beancurd Skin was amazing. A classic dim sum item that is loved by us!

There was an in-house promotion on Peking Duck, and so we ordered half a Peking duck for only SGD18. The damage was about SGD60+. Thanks Baby for the weekend brunch treat!

I ended my post with a lovely gift from Gifel Tea! I love the tea aroma and they tasted good!
