[PRODUCT REVIEW] Himalaya Herbals Clear Complexion Whitening Day Cream

Image
'Himalaya' is a popular household brand of skin, hair and health care products in India. I was glad that Himalaya sent me their Clear Complexion Whitening Day Cream. This product contains many natural and effective ingredients that are good for the skin.   The cream texture is rich and creamy, but it has a non-greasy feeling after application. A small amount is enough for the entire face and neck. I personally feel that it leaves a smooth and light-weight feeling after application. The face cream leaves no residue on the face, and it hydrates the skin very well.       The cream is pale in colour, and it looks like generic BB Cream/Sunblock. Thanks to it's unique herbal extracts and ingredients, it protects our skin against harmful UV rays to prevent the skin from darkening.     After usage for about a week, my skin tone started to brighten up. I really love the radiant glow that it gave to my complexion! I love everything about this cream as it

[Mizuno Ekiden 2017 - Team: 4-EVERSUKI] Race as 4, Run as 1

Image
Last year, Baby and I took part in our first Mizuno Ekiden Race , running approximately 5.3km as the second and fourth runner respectively for our Team MESUGOI. This year, we returned to Mizuno Ekiden 2017 to participate in the 21.1km group race with another couple, Tracy and Yixiang. We called ourselves, Team 4-EVERSUKI !     Mizuno Ekiden  is a long distance relay race, and for this event, there were two categories of a 21.1KM run and a 42.195KM run for a group of 4 members. Ekiden is a long-held Japanese tradition, and this race is used to promote the importance of Japanese values such as teamwork and perseverance. Through this race, Japanese culture is promoted in Singapore! I love the Japanese value of having 4 people in a team and run as one, in order to complete the race! This required a great amount of teamwork and cohesion!     Mizuno Ekiden 2017 was held at  The Promontory @ Marina Bay,  and I met up with my team members at the Matsuri Race Village prior t

Nourishing Generations with the Pure Goodness of MAGNOLIA Fresh Milk

Image
A good foundation of healthy living often begins with the choices of food we consume daily. For 80 years, MAGNOLIA has been devoted to nurturing good health through the pure goodness of milk, and it has earned many Singaporeans' trust.   Fresh milk is an excellent source of nutrients to supplement all ages! This is especially so for young children, as fresh milk is rich in calcium, an essential mineral to support bone development. It also contains a good mix of carbohydrates which provide the energy they need all day! Of course, the most important factor has to be protein, which fuels growth!   MAGNOLIA has championed nutrition amongst children and adults since its inception in 1937. Many parents of today will have fond memories of drinking milk from the iconic MAGNOLIA pyramid packs when they were growing up as part of the School Milk Programme. Till date, MAGNOLIA remains dedicated to promoting nutrition for the body and mind for both children and adults with new

[OISHII] Ocean & Terre Food Gift Box

Image
I got to review the food gift box from Ocean & Terre all thanks to OISHII , an informative magazine from Singapore that brings Japanese cuisine and culture to the world. The magazine features insightful articles that touch on every season in Japan, and is a free publication that is available in hard and soft copy versions. The Ocean & Terre food box contains the most authentic and traditional products from Japan. It is worth SGD15, and the quality of the items were really good. Every product is made of super premium ingredients. The box has a good mix of ready-to-eat items   and other ingredients to incorporate into our own dishes.   That the Japanese adores their sweets is a huge understatement! Every sweet snack from Japan is well produced and tastes delicious!       The Mini Baumkuchen comes in three flavors, and I liked the  'MANGO' flavour the best! Although it is a tradition pastry of many European countries, it i
