[ELLE x NARS] Be Audacious + TPC

Caren extended her invite to me to join her to the ELLE x NARS event which was held at the very first NARS Pop-up Store outside Tangs Orchard.

This pop-up store was set up to celebrate 20 years of NARS as well as their launch of their 'Audacious' Mascara. The venue space was the pretty too small to be holding an event, but we still made our way there to try out the products on display.

In prior entering the pop-up store, we were each given a white card at the event to try out the 10 different shade of Audacious Lipsticks. These were to be applied to our lips, and for us to then leave a lipstick stain/kiss print on the given card! The card with the lip print served as a lucky draw entry, and we could claim 2-pc samples from the NARS counter at Tangs Orchard.

Thanks Caren for the night!

Thanks NARS for the door gift - 2 lip glosses and some freebies samples.

After the event, we headed down to Bugis+ for our dinner at The Pizza Collective (TPC), which has a fast food concept that offers DIY styled pizza.

Although they offer self-ordering kiosks and they look good too, but I still prefer the traditional way of ordering at the counter.

We ordered a Salmon Pizza and Dessert Pizza, 'Apple of my eye'. I loved how thin and crispy the pizzas were!

Try out the 'Apple in my Eye' if you are looking for something sweet! Thanks Caren for the dinner treat, and it was nice catching up with you too!

[night out] SKECHERS Sundown Festival 2015

I was invited by The Red Planet to the biggest and coolest Asian Music Festival, the 'SKECHERS Sundown Festival 2015, Let's Rock'. This event was held at the Marina Promenade (F1 Pit Building).

SKECHERS Sundown Festival featured artistes from all over Asia, and I was glad to be part of this music festival with a pair of CAT.1 tickets, so I called upon Sweetie to join me to the event.

Special guests from Taiwan, 'Ground Zero' was also back in Singapore at the SKECHERS Sundown Festival as part of their regional tour which had a stop in Singapore. They performed latest songs during the music festival which I quite enjoyed.

It was a brilliant performance by Ground Zero, kudos to them as they believe in taking the energy in life and turning it into powerful music notes that inspire audiences with a positive attitude towards life.

INKT from Japan! Those guys are truly rockers. A great JRock group indeed!

Finally, my favorite group from Thailand was up on stage. Little do you guys know, I am a huge closet Thai-Pop/Music fan.

I was introduced to this Thai Rock Band, 'POTATO' by a friend way back in 2009. I was attracted by their smash hit - 'Rak Thae Do Lae Mai Dai', and since then, I started to follow closely on their new releases. Upon hearing that they are one of the artistes performing at the SKECHERS Sundown Festival this year, I was on cloud nine!

I almost went crazy when they performed their popular hit, 'Tur Young'.

Enjoy the MV of Tur Young (Do you still…) with Eng Sub.

I had a blast with my friends all thanks to The Red Planet. It was a wild night and we indulged ourselves with awesome songs and a wonderful performance by the artistes who performed at the music festival.

[personal] Leather Forever Hermes Exhibiton + Innisfree

Baby and I made a trip down to the ArtScience Museum for the Hermes 'Leather Forever' World Tour which was ongoing in Singapore. This exhibition is currently open from now till 13th December 2015, and is free admission!

This exhibition features leather work from the past and present, as well as their latest collections. All bags are well-crafted and made from the finest leather.

The 'STAR BAGS' that attracted my attention during my visit to the exhibition.

Hermes has created five unique bags in honor of Singapore to celebrate a half-century of Independence. They were inspired by Kellydoll, and is a cartoon bag with a miniature doll's bag and a Kelly-shaped smiley!

I am a member of my favorite Korean beauty brand, Innisfree. Recently, I picked up the No Sebum Mineral Powder Compact, as I had tried out this roduct previously by getting it online through Althea Korea’s website!  Apart from the compact powder, I also got myself 2 facial mask sheets too.

I received my welcome gift as a member of Innisfree, and the welcome pack was a 3-piece deluxe size product of Innisfree Best Loved Collection!

They consisted of:- Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum which I am currently using for my daily skin regime.

Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

Innisfree Orchid Enriched Cream

I end my post with a random selfie when I went fishing with Baby at MacRitchie Reservoir, and thanks for reading!
