Clique's gathering @ Bugis

Image
Finally weekends are coming, all working adults like myself, Sweetie and Linda are always looking forward to the weekends... Even Terence who is now working part-time while waiting for his enlisting into the army, feels the same way too. He told me that he prefers studying to working. Oh well, stepping into the working society is one of the stages in life ... HP has the same thinking too, as he has learnt to value of weekends after his 2-month plus internship. As for William, he is a full-time blogger, own time own target. We arranged for a get-together 'makan' gathering at  Wong Kok Char Chan Teng @ Bugis Junction on a random Friday evening...   Linda, Terence and Sweetie took a shot together, while waiting for their food to be served. We simply love our gathering, as during our date, we chatted about everything under the sun, and it was a wonderful meet-up!! William's drink - Lemonade with Sour Plum.  Gosh! It looks like a red lantern. Hahaha!!

My loots from KSL City Mall

Image
I love Sunday, it is a day where I spend my time devoted to my family and of course spending quality time with my Baby. As everybody knows that I love to do cheap shopping... Baby drove in to Malaysia - KSL City Mall, JB to fulfil my trendy shopping desire on a random Sunday.   I bought a mobile cover for my iphone at a steal price of RM3.90 (abt SGD1.60). I love the Hello Kitty design (:   I am not a Hello Kitty lover, but I was somehow attracted by the die-cut cover as I always adore pastel colors. Seem like all my friends own a pair of hello Kitty Spectacles, so Baby suggested me to get a pair for myself to join in the clan. Hahahaha!! There are tons of colors to choose from and the patterns ranges from plain to polka dots frames.. Baby always prefer originality, so he picked the plain black frame with the classic red bow for me. He paid RM12 (abt SGD5)   My new satchels for my daily usage, it goes well with most of my outfits. It cost me only RM

Dinner at De Classic Golden Spoon

Image
De Classic Golden Spoon is a pretty old restaurant nestled in Seng Poh Lane, opposite one of my favourite Cze Char restaurants - Por Kee Eating House . They both serve old style Cantonese food and both of them bear their own house’s signature dishes. The air-con dining area looks pretty run-down and kinda small, so do come early as seats are very limited... The Corn Soup was pretty tasty with generous helpings of crab meat and it was worth my thumbs up... The Prawn Rolls tasted normal nothing to shout about. I will try out the B aby Squid with Rojak Sauce as this dish received quite a number of raves We ordered the Coffee Ribs , I simply love the way the sauce complements the spare ribs and the d istinctive coffee smell when biting into the tender meat. Mapo Tofu tasted alright, nothing to crow much about. The damage was SGD64-ish. I feel that it was kinda pricey for the items we ordered, but the service is pretty good and the serving of

Be entertain by Madagascar 3

No doubt watching movies In JB, Malaysia is not a new thing for me and Baby, but I recently caught a movie at MBO Cineplex at KSL Mall which was our first time patronizing this cinema. We were eager to know about the quality of the film screen and the comfort level of the seats in the theatres... The seats were REALLY comfortable but we were disappointed by the quality of the film screen as there were a lot thin scratch lines when the film was playing on the big screen. Oh well, we only paid RM22 (abt SGD9) for a pair of movie tickets for 'Madagascar 3' , so I think we better not to crow too much or complain about it. T he familiar foursome , Alex the Lion (voiced by Ben Stiller), Marty the Zebra (voiced by Chris Rock), Gloria the Hippo (voiced by Jada Pinkett Smith), and Melman the Giraffe (voiced by David Schwimmer) are still in Africa yearning for their lives back in New York. To beat their homesickness, they once again embark on an adventure to get home to thei

My Scheming Facial Mask: Pearl Whitening Mask

Image
Weekends never seem to be enough for me, as time flies so quickly when I am doing things that I like most, therefore I decided to pamper myself to a nice mask treat to beat my Moanday  Monday blues.  Mask-ing session with  My Scheming Facial Mask: Pearl Whitening Mask   Suitable for dry skin, as it provides moisture and elastic-ness to the skin. With the help of Pearl Protein , it gives a smooth and silky feel on the skin. The material of the mask is pretty thin, but one needn't worry, as it doesn't tear easily and I really love the pleasant flowery scent!! I left the mask on my face for 20mins, and after patting the essence into my skin, my face looks more radiant than before and feels well-hydrated. I like the mask as a whole, as it provides excellent moisturising benefits.

A fulfilling weekend day out

Mapo Dou Fu Restaurant , is an authentic Szechuan Restaurant located along Sin Ming Road which serves a tantalising steamboat that uses Yuan Yang Stock... This traditionally-decorated restaurant is not only famous for their 'mala' steamboat, they also serve authentic Szechuan Cuisine. Baby and I decided to order  the a la carte items from the menu. This restaurant is an outlet of the famous Mapo Doufu Restaurant in Chengdu, China, reputable for its authentic Szechuan cuisine dishes and the waitresses are polite, patient and helpful. A couple of them are the natives from Chengdu. I ordered the Szechuan Hot & Sour soup for myself... The peppery-taste was overpowering and it made the soup taste like a pepper soup. Baby had Crabmeat Soup... It tasted pretty light and delicious We ordered the signature dish in the house, Mapo Doufu . Being an authentic dish from Szechuan, it tasted  powerfully spicy with both conventional spiciness and the charact
