Food Tasting at Seletar Terrace, Seletar Country Club

Image
Not a member? Fret not, as you can still dine at the  Seletar Terrace  even though  you are not a member of Seletar Country Club , as it is open for public. The parking is free, and has a great ambience that is bright and airy, and surrounded by lush greenery. This eatery place is a great place for meal gatherings as their food selections are wide and delicious, but most importantly, the damage is affordable too! The Pork Satay was pretty tasty, and you can't go wrong with choosing it! Salami Pizza Bacon & Ham Carbonara The Penang Char Kuay Teow and Fried Carrot Cake were good. There was sufficient levels of 'wok hei' which boosted up the taste of the food. Black Pepper Chicken Chop In my opinion, the Seafood White Beehoon was pretty good. The broth was the tasty with pork lard. Fish & Chips (breaded) The Bak Kut Teh (Herbal styled)  was normal. I didn't think it was much to shout about but it was edible. It was quite a doable experience for me! It's hi

[random] Dinner at Imakatsu - a Michelin Bib Gourmand Guide Tokyo + Birthday Celebration at Chao San Cuisine

Baby and I love Fridays and we always try to go somewhere nice for dinner after work. We went Imakatsu - a Michelin Bib Gourmand Guide Tokyo , which located at Tanjong Pager Centre . We were excited to dine in as we both haven't had tonkatsu in a while. The meal started with a huge bowl of fresh cabbage with my favorite Sesame (Goma) Dressing Sauce which we happily munched on while waiting for our food! As a sucker for anything miso, I couldn’t resist ordering the Miso Tonkatsu , and it was deliciously succulent. I could taste the freshness of the tonkatsu! I love the gorgeous golden-brown of the tonkatsu with generous miso sauce. I was very impressed with the tonkatsu, as well as with the other side dishes that we had ordered. However, the damage was a bit on the high side, more than I expected. Oh well, the tonkatsu is worth trying as this restaurant does specialize in Tonkatsu after all! My Brother organized a birthday celebration session for my Mommy at  Chao Shan Cuisine , wh

[Food post] SUKIYA + Pratunam PLUS + Tan Yu 探鱼 + ManNa Korean Restaurant + Malaysia Boleh

Baby and I finally visited this popular Gyudon eatery at SUKIYA after their successful opening of their flagship outlet at Suntec City in 2021. The horrendous queue shrunk after they have expanded their outlets island wide. All prices are NETT, with an additional service charge. It's pretty affordable for diners! I will definitely come back again, as I really enjoyed the Gyudon very much! Baby and I went to Pratunam PLUS for dinner after our work, and it is located at Bugis+ . We ordered the R unny Omelette Prawn Fried Rice , Prawn with Vermicelli on Claypot and Seafood Tom Yum ! We also shared the P rawn Donut , and it tasted heavenly delicious! It is definitely a ‘must-try’ as claimed by the restaurant itself! Lastly, the Moo-ping was absolute amazing, and both of us enjoyed it very much. The total damage was SGD59. Baby is the sweetest hubby, as he prepared dinner on a random weekday during WFH. We had  Curry Rice with Sausages, Carrots and Potatoes  for dinner. It was fill
