Meryl's Birthday Celebration

Image
Meryl is approaching her big 3, and she wanted to do something significant for herself. She booked a hotel staycation at Hard Rock Hotel, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) as part of her birthday celebration. I received a message alert from her and she told me about it. Both Baby and I accepted her invitation immediately once we received her message. On the day of celebration, before we headed over to the Hard Rock Hotel, we went for lunch at Wave House, Siloso Beach. We had a delightful lunch, and i enjoyed their companionship immensely! After that, we went to the Sentosa Sandsation 2019 - Star Wars Edition which was also held at Siloso Beach. We were so lucky to catch it as it was the last day when we were there.  We loved the showcase of the larger than life sandcastles!  Upon entering the room, there was a huge mood of party celebration going on as wall decorations were put up. The hotel room was facing the swimming pool, and

[throw-back] Movie preview of Fagara + Crab Feast at Jumbo SeafoodRestaurant

Last month, I attended the movie preview of 'Fagara' at the Filmgarde, Bugis+. It’s been eons since I last saw a show with Sammi Cheng, and I relished the opportunity to ‘catch up’ with a actress I used to adore greatly. She plays the estranged daughter of a steamboat restaurant owner who is suddenly thrust into ownership of the restaurant after her father passes away. One would think this would be challenging enough but she discovers her father had two other children at the funeral. I generally find most dramas these days a bit too exaggerated and unrealistic at the same time, but this film would hit right at home with people who have estranged relationships with their families. It was quite the tear jerker as the film plays out, and it did have that bittersweet moment at the end.  Before the movie commenced, we were lead to a hotpot tasting by Xiao Long Kan . I quite enjoyed this novel idea! Thanks Xiao Long Kan and Filmgarde for the kind hospit

Thanks The Magical Cloud , for introducing me to their organic body and skin products. I am glad that they sent me the product for a trial! I received 2 of their signature products - Oh my, I'm Exhaused! Peppermint Foot Spa and Chocolate Goodness/Face & Body Mask .   Being a home-grown beauty brand,  The Magical Cloud offers natural and organic spa products which can be enjoyed with ease at home! Although they sell their products online, they do have a retail store which is located at Singapore Shopping Centre .     As you can see from the photo, their product packaging was not pretentious. As they say, less is more! You can totally rely on them as they only use natural and organic ingredients in their products. Strictly no chemicals or preservatives are used, thus it does have a short shelf-life. (use within 6 months!)     Let me start with the Oh my, I'm Exhaused! Peppermint Foot Spa , and as I expected, it was pure bliss for tired feet! To p

I love weekends, and it is 'gai-gai' time! I did a selfie during a car ride. The month of August is our Anniversary Month, and this year Baby brought me for dinner at Mitsuba , which is a Japanese Ala-carte buffet restraurant located at the Central, Clarke Quay. Yes! We celebrated our 11th anniversary, and I love spending quality time with him. Thanks baby for showering me with your love and care all these years. Long may it continue in the coming years!! I also want to thank him for always being very supportive towards my social media lifestyle, as well as always being there for me whenever i need him! We went to Monster Curry for dinner on a random weekday after work, and they are presently running a collaboration with Doraemon . We shared a super huge plate of Special Combo Curry at SGD28.80 which consists of Chicken Karaage, Pork Katsu, Chicken Sausages, Jumbo Ebi, Big Fried Fish and Tako Balls. I love the concept of sharing as food generally taste
