[launch + review] GoGear's portable audio collection

GoGear's latest range of portable audio devices are the newest addition to the local distributor, Hwee Seng Electronics. The trendy design is for the young, bold and fun-loving consumers who look upon music as a form of self expression.  

 
 
The range comprises of colorful products from both audio and bluetooth speakers, earphones and headphones.
 
 
GoGear is the epitome of fun and functionality that targets the young at heart, especially those who believe in celebrating sound and the transformative nature of music.

 
 

 
 
One of the marquee products is the Splash n Dash (SGD49.90). It is a bluetooth portable speaker and it has splash-proof properties, thus it makes an ideal product for those who love to sing during their shower or outdoor usage.
 
 
 
It is also a great outdoor companion as the battery life-span lasts for up to eight hours, and the connectivity goes up to 10 metres!

 

 
 
I am sharing my review on the Splash n Dash which I received as a door gift at GoGear launch event which was held at Pies & Coffee.
 
    
 
This bluetooth portable speaker bears a splash-proof design which features a suction cup that can be conveniently mounted on any flat surfaces. The suction look sturdy and the overall product itself looks tough too.


 
The only downside to this device in my opinion is the enclosed area for the USB port, and the power switch button which doesn't seem to look secure at all against minor water splashes and spills.

 
There are 3 convenient buttons which allows us to pause, play back and forward the tracks as well as to control the sound volume too. I found it a hassle to flip the silicon cover each time for the power (on/off) switch.
 
 
All GoGear products come with a 1 year warranty, and are now available at Mustafa and selected 7-Eleven stores in Singapore.

This year, in celebration of its 180th anniversary, BRAND’S has partnered with World Vision International and aims to raise and sponsor SGD180,000 for 180 kids across the region including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan and China in 2015.
 
 
 
In Singapore, BRAND’S 'Hope In A Bottle campaign encourages the public to join the cause by getting the BRAND’S Coin Slot Caps at SGD2 each, where all proceeds will be donated to World Vision. The Coin Slot Caps transform used BRAND’S bottles into coin banks, which can be filled and donated back to World Vision or kept as a collector’s item.

Singapore Airlines Light Up the Night Carnival

Last weekends, I met up with my friends at F1 Pit Building to join in the fun at the Singapore Airlines Light Up the Night Carnival. This was my first time attending this event which brought to us by SIA, although, there was a similar event last year.
 
 
Singapore Airlines Light Up the Night Carnival was an open-to-public event to publicise the upcoming Formula One (F1) Grand Prix which will be held from 18-20 September 2015.
 
 
 
 

 
We took part in some of the activities at the carnival. Most racing related activities/games were pretty crowded, and we foresaw ourselves having to queue for at least 20-30 minutes, so we chose to forgo the  activities and games to save time.
 

 
 
Kiss92FM was there to provide a LIVE report of the carnival to their listeners, and the songs played on that day were very nice. I was glad to get a group photo with DJs. Maddy is so friendly, and I enjoyed her presence at the event very much!
 

 
We experienced the comfort-ness of Singapore Airlines seats in the Business Class and First Class during the carnival.
 
 
We took a photo of us at the Economy Class seats, and we will work at this being a reality soon by travelling together!
 
 

 
We took some random photos with Madame Tussaud's wax figures of Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel.
 
 
 
 
We ended our adventure at the Singapore Airlines Light Up the Night Carnival with our group photo against the #F1NIGHTRACE standee!

It was a big gathering for me, as I met up with most of my cliques such as Jasmine, Tracy, Meryl and new-blood blogger, Joanne!
 
 

  Jason Moffitt is a producer at Disney Interactive Studio who gave a very detailed presentation on the latest installment of Disney Infinity 3.0.
 
 
 
 
Disney Infinity 3.0 will also introduce an all-new, 3-D Toy Box Hub that will make it easier for players to choose from a wider selection of game-play experiences
