[weekend outing] The Oh-So-Sweet Bean Christmas event at Marina Square + Pikachu Weekend in Singapore at Marina Bay

Lunch with kiddos at Pizza Maru which is located at Jewel Changi.

In total, we ordered 2 pizzas and a side to share among the kiddos and the adults! We paid SGD76 for 4 adults and 2 children. Thanks for making time to have lunch together. Love your companionship loads!



The Oh-So-Sweet Bean Christmas event is located at the Central Atrium of Marina Square. There were many life-sized photo opportunities of the Sweet Bean Sculptures which were bound to be a hit on Instagram!








One of my favorite sculptures was the Sweet Bean Dog House!



 

We had fun taking the photos at the Marina Square x Pop Mart!



We went to the Pikachu Weekend that had a night show on the finale night  which was held at Marina Bay.




Each visitor was allowed to redeem a Pokémon visor of their choice!





We reached the event village at around 5pm and we took a beautiful picture with the Pikachu which was decked out in a purple, orchid orchid-themed t-shirt!



The free night show started at 7:30pm, and the highlight was the special LIVE Drone Displays!



A total of 500 drones took place in the night sky during the show, and the drone show display had its debut in Okinawan, Japan to much celebrated fanfare and massive popularity. It was the first time it was specially  created in Singapore to celebrate Pokémon GO’s Sixth Anniversary.


 

The night shows also comprised of a music and dance performance which featured nine Pikachus, led by Afro Pikachu.

I loved the night show which was held against Singapore’s stunning skyline! We had a delightful experience night show to end our weekend!

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
