[random] Christmas gathering at Route 65 + Christmas shopping at Marks & Spencer

It’s that time of the year again! Time to delight in festive goodies only found during this holiday period!



Fancy unique decorations cum Christmas treats? Check out M&S’s Musical Biscuit Tin! The tin is in either the shape of a Royal house or X'mas Tree, and they both play favorite X'mas melodies! Of course, the real treats are the shortbread cookies within that are shaped like mini houses. Very tasty and delicious too!



If you are running out of ideas on what to get for your family or friends this Xmas, I highly recommend everyone get these joyful treats, which are bound to get the X’mas spirit going! There is no better way to indulge than to feast on M&S’s range of goodies!


Baby and I revisited Paradise Classics at Changi Jewel, as we love the delicious food and good service from this particular outlet. The damage was less than SGD60, and we had a pleasurable experience at the restaurant indeed!



I met up with Tracy, Meryl and Sweetie on a Christmas gathering ‘Fridate’ and we settled at Route 65 Bar + Kitchen which is located at the Suntec City. Tracy made use of her Entertainer App, which allows us to obtain a 1-for-1 deal! This eatery place is specialized in contemporary Asian dishes and bar bites. This lifestyle bar and kitchen concept serves Asian classics with a twist.



The Signature Hokkien Mee is served on an opeh leaf. The texture of the noodles are perfect and there is a generous serving of ingredients. The sambal chilli tasted good and is prepared and cooked in-house from scratch.

 


Apart from the Prawn Mee, we also had the Fried Chicken Don, Lobster Pasta and Bangers & Mash. All thanks to the 1-for-1 deal offer, we only paid SGD11.50 each, which made our dinner damage very affordable and friendly for our pockets!

 I end my post with a mini gift-exchange lunch at Mad for Garlic with my 2 close colleagues. We had a nice lunching session with one another, and thanks for the lovely Christmas gift!

[Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
