Our usual weekend activity is to drive into JB, Malaysia, and this time we went in via the Tuas Second link. We cleared the customs in just a few minutes, and we were heading to Aeon Bukit Idah . We had our lunch at Beans Talk , a small eatery place which offers Taiwanese street food/desserts... Baby had Braised Pork Rice with Egg (Lu Rou Fan) I had Oyster Mee Sua We crossed over to the opposite side of Aeon Bukit Idah in order to seek new places for our dinner, and as we walked along the street of Jalan Idah, we discovered a food gem, Jeju BBQ Korean Restaurant. The restaurant is run by Koreans, and upon entering the premises, the interior setting look very similar to those in Korea. Antoinette is a Parisian patisserie and tea salon by one of Singapore's best pastry chefs, Chef Pang. Antoinette is a great place for having quiet afternoon time, and I was glad that I am staying nearby to the Lavendar area, hence I can always drop by for some sweet 'nothings' (desserts) with my loved ones and friends.   Upon entering the premises, I was greeted by all the colorful sweet snacks that made me feel happy, pampered and blissful. It is definitely pleasant to the eyes... The ambience of the tea salon is cozy and it bears a contemporary Victorian-style setting.   Baby and I went for some relaxing high tea at Antoinette on a Sunday afternoon, and it is located at Penhas Road (behind the Citylights Condo) . My NYE's dinner at Calanthe Art Cafe was a delightful one, as the ambience was perfect for peaceful dining as well for reminiscing back on all the memories and thing we did, as well as what had happened for the whole year of 2013.     Calanthe Art Cafe is located at Jonker Walk and they serve the best coffee of the 13 States of Malaysia... Ironically, we did not order any coffee, we had tea tnstead.   We started off our dinner with Satay Chicken , it tasted pretty good.   I had Sesame Chicken as my main, and it tasted decent, nothing to shout about.   Baby had Ponteh Chicken , and it tasted way better than mine, and I can't stop savoring the gravy from the Ponteh Chicken together with my white rice.   The damage was RM50 (SGD19-ish) which included a Seafood Tom Yam and two teas ( Chamomile and Earl Grey).     We did our countdown in the hotel while having Ramly Burger.
