HÜBSCH JESS BABY

It has been a long time since I had Japanese food ever since I came back from Japan in October. Baby brought me to Sumire Yakitori House which is located at Icon Village in Tanjong Pager .   Sumire Yakitori House is an established Yakitori Izakaya in Tokyo and they opened 2 outlets in Singapore and their motto is to bring a smile to every patron who dines in their premises.   We started off with a bowl of complimentary cabbage which is served with Shiodare Japanese Salt Dressing. The fresh and crunchy cabbage tasted good!   We ordered Yari Ika Teryaki, and we got quite a big serving for the price of SGD8.90. A great value for money! Baby entered himself to the full marathon (42.195KM) for Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2014 , and it was his very first full marathon after taking part in various other shorter runs, such as the Army Half Marathon and other 10KM distances!  His run flagged off at Orchard Road (beside Mandarin Orchard Singapore) and ended at the Padang. The cut-off timing was 8hrs.   I went over the Padang to support him at the finishing point, and we had been texting each other throughout his marathon, so that I could have a clear update/estimate on when he would be crossing the finishing line. Amazingly, he didn't train at all yet managed to do a reasonable 6 hours and 13 minutes to complete his full marathon. He says he will never do it again, but I'm sure he will! I am so proud of my Baby for finishing his whole race within the time frame without much training before the race. In July, I was invited to play in the Escape Hunt which was located at the Concorde Hotel Shopping Arcade, and I had a thrilling experience solving the puzzles! Hence, when Samuel extended a new invite to me for a similar event, the 'Real Escape Game', I accepted it gladly without any second thought. We met up our team members at Yio Chu Kang Stadium where the Real Escape Game took place. We challenged the ATTACK ON TITAN: ESCAPE FROM THE WALLED CITY . After a great success in Japan, the game-masters decided to bring the game concept to Singapore. I was surprised that the game did not require us to be locked inside a room but instead, we were at an open field looking out for clues and hints to solve the mystery puzzles.  We formed a team of 8 on a time frame of 60 minutes, and we had to compete with other teams at the same time.
