  I re-visited Hans Im Glück at VivoCity on a random weekend for lunch again. We each ordered a lunch set special, and it is a tremendous bonus that the special is applicable on weekends as well!          Both Baby and I had a beef burger with sourdough bread. We also had sides of sweet potato fries and salad with Asian dressing as well. We loved the sweet potatoes fries very much!     We also had thirst quenchers to go with our mains, and at the end of the meal we were each served a cup of hot tea to round up our meal experience. Nothing beats having a nice German meal with loved ones on a relaxing weekend afternoon.    The damage was about SGD52, and this is a treat for my Dearest Hubby! Cirque du Soleil returns to Singapore this year with its most acclaimed touring show, KURIOS – 'Cabinet of Curiosities' . 'KURIOS' is the 6th instalment staged under a huge Big Top Tent, and it premiered on the 5th July 2019 on Bayfront Avenue , next to the Marina Bay Sands. Every Cirque du Soleil's show is based on a particular theme, and KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities is about a scientist, known as The Seeker, who is convinced that there is an invisible world in his larger-than-life cabinet, which seems to be full of crazy ideas and where grand dreams might await! The setup tells of a tale where time comes to a complete stop, transporting audiences into a fantasy world whereby everything is possible. Throughout the show, some familiar circus acts were re-imagined by KURIOS ; A Dinner party segment had one of the performers suddenly building a tower of chairs on the table in order to reach a chandelier which was dangling...

Finally JJM reunited on a random Sunday at Bukit Panjang Plaza for lunch. We settled at Eng’s Wanton Mee . Thanks for the lovely treat! We enjoyed the egg noodles very much.   After our lunch, we walked over to nearby Hillion Mall to attend the launch of Lafre . We received a pre-register goodies pack kit and they also gave out more Lafre sanitary pad samples to us to try out!  We went back to Bukit Panjang Plaza to have some light bites at Pizza Hut , as Meryl had some great deals for us! Lastly, both Baby and I suggested to have Peranakan food for dinner, so we drove to Binjai Park to introduce to our friends one of our favorite restaurants! Ivins is a classic peranakan restaurant which has been around for 30 years or more, and is my Baby's childhood favorite joint. Fu Xiang Signatures is best known their signature heritage curry dishes/recipes which were passed down from the family’s pioneer generation. This eatery place is currently helmed by the second generation - Edwin and Edric, who strives to keep their parent's tradition alive.   Fu Xiang Signatures brings back the good old days and comfort from local food heritage. This particular outlet we visited was at Vivocity's Food Republic , and it has its own seating area.         Before the tasting commenced, both Meryl and myself had fun during our hands-on cooking segment, which was hosted by Chef Edwin.
