[random] Welcome July!

Finally JJM reunited on a random Sunday at Bukit Panjang Plaza for lunch. We settled at Eng’s Wanton Mee. Thanks for the lovely treat! We enjoyed the egg noodles very much.

 

After our lunch, we walked over to nearby Hillion Mall to attend the launch of Lafre. We received a pre-register goodies pack kit and they also gave out more Lafre sanitary pad samples to us to try out! 

We went back to Bukit Panjang Plaza to have some light bites at Pizza Hut, as Meryl had some great deals for us!

Lastly, both Baby and I suggested to have Peranakan food for dinner, so we drove to Binjai Park to introduce to our friends one of our favorite restaurants! Ivins is a classic peranakan restaurant which has been around for 30 years or more, and is my Baby's childhood favorite joint.

Since we were the only ones who had been to this eatery place before, we took over the ordering instead. We ordered 5 dishes and 2 soups for the 5 of us. We were glad that they enjoyed the food we had ordered. Ivins does indeed serve delicious Peranakan food!

The Lee family left after the dinner, while we continued our happy hour at Spruce which is located at Bukit Timah area. This included our Sunday date... Thanks everybody! 

Recently, I met up with Jasmine for lunch at Chinatown area, and we had Bak Kut Teh (BKT). It is so delightful to catch up with each other over a simple meal. 

The Face Shop pop-up event was held at Plaza Singapura, and I joined in the fun to discover THEFACESHOP Singapore’s curation of K-beauty brands — including our latest professional makeup brand, VDIVOV and cult favorite Belif Singapore! All one needed to do at this event was to collect 3 stamps out of the four different stations, and a THEFACESHOP Beauty Central Kit could be redeemed!

Thanks Her World Singapore and Jurlique for the lovely gift - a brand new packaging of the Rosewater Balancing Mist and a Jurlique Signature Facial Treatment Voucher Set worth SGD245. This was definitely a nice way to welcome my July! 

I am an existing user of Jurlique, and I am also a fan of their signature mist sprays, especially the 'Rosewater Balancing Mist'. Will share more on my experience on the Signature Facial treatment once I redeem it!
