[product review] Celladix Sebum Rebalancing RX Ampoule + COCOnCO Skincare Line

Image
Thanks for introducing COCOnCO from Korea which has helped me to achieve pleasant results from my beauty regime.   COCOnCO First Essence Toner  is a fermented facial essence, and it soothes wrinkles, tones, moisturizes and nourishes the skin, enhances blood circulation and metabolic processes at the cellular level, evens out complexion, brightens the skin, reduces the secretion of sebaceous glands and fights rashes. If you have pale, tired skin with sagging and fine lines, these can be miraculously transformed with regular use of the essence! It is suggested to be used as the first step in daily skin care. Apply it to cleansed skin first before applying the lotion, emulsion/serum and cream.  It is recommended for the product to be used twice a day - Once in the morning, and once in the evening. After using the COCOnCO First Essence , I did find it more hydrating and my skin is now less sensitive. My favorite way to use this is just as an essence after applying my to...

[food review] OK Chicken Rice and Humfull Prawn Laksa + Fire Rice

Image
A party of 6 of us went for our dinner at OK Chicken Rice and Humfull Prawn Laksa   which is located at the Broadway Coffee Shop in Bedok .  OK Chicken Rice  pecializes in steamed, roasted and deep-fried chicken dishes. There are some unique options such as ‘Fatbulous Chicken Cutlet’ and ‘Fatbulous Chicken Skin’ . The rice was well-seasoned without any excessive oilness, providing a more guilt-free experience. The chilli sauce is the usual garlicky chicken rice chilli. The Roasted Chicken was the one that was best in my opinion. I love the tasty golden-brown  skin and tender meat.  We topped up our meal with braised eggs, tofu and the green veggies. IMHO, OK Chicken Rice & Humfull Laksa was a satisfactory meal, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression. However, my other makan mates loved it. Oh well, oone man's meat is another man's poison! Come and try it yourself and decide whether it is a pass for you! OK CHICKEN RICE & HUMFULL LAKSA 760 Bedok Re...

Image
On our third day in Los Angeles, Baby woke up early to prepare brekkie for us before leaving for the theme park. He is my sweetest Baby indeed! Baby drove us to the park which is located within Hollywood and it only took us 15-20 minutes  to get there from our Airbnb. Amazingly, to park at Universal Studios cost us USD30 for a 'general parking lot' tier. A bit too pricey if you ask me. Nevertheless, upon parking, we walked through the whole Universal CityWalk to the entrance of Universal Studios Hollywood ! We last visited  Universal Studios Hollywood   in 2016 and it’s been 7 years since we came back! We’re glad to say that most of our beloved attractions are still around, and recently, they revamped the  Jurassic World - The Ride , the Studio Tour and The Simpson  Ride. However, we were most looking forward to visit the relatively new Super Nintendo World to see if it was any different from it's Japanese counterpart! Upon entering the park, we decided to...
