Support Yongwei... Guinness LIVE at Dragonfly

Image
We were back again for Guinness LIVE, the PK was at Dragonfly which is Yong Wei 's home-ground... Full attendance today to suppport Yong Wei!! Best of luck, Yong Wei (: Sweetie and I, always together Opening performance by the Dragonfly Team's mentor, Jason... I always enjoy his singing, and the way he performed on stage... YOU ROXS MAN!! Mentors from Dragonfly team & Shanghai Dolly team... The two contestants of the night - Jermy from the Shanghai Dolly team and Yong Wei from the Dragonfly team. This is my first time, hearing Jeremy sing during the Guinness LIVE... He looks almost Japanese manga like which was his added bonus but his p ronunciation is not clear and not accurate, overall his vocal was pretty weak... After hearing Yong Wei singing for so many rounds of competition, I personally feel that he has improved quite a bit... He tends to forget his lyrics, as this is the most crucial mistakes to make during the PK... As a whole, ...

Guinness LIVE at Shanghai Dolly

A group of us (Ruting, Yongwei, Sweetie, Wiliam, Valentine and I) went to Guinness LIVE to support Regine again, The PK was at Shanghai Dolly, which is Regine's home-ground... As we were pretty late when we arrived, we missed out the opening act from the mentor, William Scorpion... Seats were taken and only scatter seats were available at the point of time, only 3 of us managed to get a photo together... Thanks gals!! Siling's vocal was alright, to be honest, she sang the hokkien song - 'Jia Hou' during her last round of competition, which was really wonderful and this song really helped her to earn some points. Her voice was clear and she brought out the aroma of the Hokkien hometown song... Regine sang pretty well during the match, but not as 'WOW' as that day when she was with Kenny at Dragonfly... All I can say is that her stage experience was fruitful and she handled her feelings well when she was singing... Regine changed her clothes from ...

Baby booked a table for High Tea at Shangri-la Hotel on my birthday... Upon reaching the hotel, we walked up a flight of stairs to the Rose Veranda, where the high tea venue was... The Rose Veranda offers a refreshing contemporary look, as Rose Veranda believes in bringing back the elegant art of afternoon tea. courtesy from www.shangri-la.com The buffet spread is pretty decent... Oh well, I prefer quality to quanity. A laid-back feeling to enjoy my tea... The Rose Veranda offers a range of 164 premium tea blends, and I chosen 'Happy Birthday Tea' as this will make it more meaningful...  The free flow of tea kept reminding me that I am one year older wiser!! Thanks Baby for the lovely gift and I love it soooo much. Yay! Another collection from Tiffany & Co... Appreciate Baby for the wonderful preparation for my birthday... It was a nice treat from Baby... What's make this high tea dfferent from others is that we get to enjoy our meal in a gree...

Pre-Birthday Celeration / Pre-CNY Gathering

Every leap year, my birthday will fall during the Chinese New Year period... To be honest, I don't really like it as most of my friends will be busy doing spring-cleaning and preparations for the coming new year and have no time for me :( Therefore I decided to have a simple dinner gathering cum birthday celebration, 5-day before my actual day... We settled at Din Tai Feng @ 313... Appreciate each of everybodys attendance loads!! I had Mushroom Noodles as my main course.... Sweetie and William had Egg-Fried Rice with Pork Chop... OM! The Pork Chop looked succulent... Terence and HP ordered the Egg-Fried Rice with Shrimps... We ordered quite a no. of side dishes to share among us.. . All of us were craving for their signature dish - 'Xiao Long Bao'... I love the soup which flows out of the dumpling the moment I bite into it. *Simply delicious* Terence requested to order the Wanton Soup, there it goes as per his request. The soup was flavouful... Spicy...
