Preview Screening - Jack and Jill

I had been selected as a member of Power98 FM's Elite Music Crew... As a member, I was treated to the special screening of the movie ‘Jack and Jill’ at Shaw Lido...

Before the screening starts, there was an interaction segment between the DJs of Power98Fm and the audience... I won the Power98FM’s goodies bag through Q&A session...

Jack and Jill is a comedy film starring Adam Sandler, which was rated with almost universally negative reviews. This movie starts off with a few video clips of twins making fun of each other. As the movie plays out, we are introduced to Adam Sandler as one half of twins, where he also acts as his twin sister in the movie.
 
In the movie, Jack (played by Adam Sandler) is a successful advertising executive in Los Angeles with a beautiful wife, Erin (starring Katie Holmes) and kids who dread only one event every year which is the Thanksgiving''s Day as his 'identical’ twin sister, Jill (played by Adam Sandler) will visit him and his family. During her stay, Jill's behaviour annoys Jack and turns his tranquil life upside down.


Adams Sandler was horrible as Jill, his interpretation of the female voice is so terrible and annoying that I feel like using the violence way to shut him up...
As for Katie Holmes, her character was minimal and boring... To me, she could have been simply excluded in this movie.

Al Pacino is not making a cameo but as a main supporting character. He speaks gibberish as to fool the audience that he can speak other languages. I personally thought that this movie probably lowered his value as a star. Why on earth is one of the greatest actors acting in a show like this?


I used to enjoy Adam Sandler movies but I wasn't given the 'WOW' feeling by his latest movie, 'Jack and Jill' as this movie is really retarded and barely watchable. From my point of view, the movie would have been better if Jill is played by a woman instead.

Some of the jokes in the show were pretty pointless and not funny at all... I am really tired of the 'fart' jokes cos they are really disgusting.

Neverthless I still want to thank Safra Radio, Power98FM for the preview screening. The premiere date is on 19 January 2012.

[Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
