Our mini celebration @ Ming Kee

A mini celebration for us... Baby suggested to go 'Ming Kee Live Seafood' for dinner, since this is a celebration for us, therefore we agreed to split the bill (:
Ming Kee Live Seafood is known for serving good and fresh seafood at affordable prices.. Used to be in Marine Parade, but it got so popular that they shifted to their current space at Macpherson. Tucked inconspicuously along Macpherson Road, the restaurant is an easy missed target if one is not familar. The location is where you wouldn’t expect good food, as it appears as a 3-star decorated air-conditioned environment. Reservation is recommended for big family dining on weekends, unless you don’t mind alfresco.

~ Roasted Walnuts ~

Beehoon Crabs are their specialty. Almost every table at Ming Kee Restaurant went for the signature Bee Hoon Crab... How can we missed the best, we had crabby feast for our dinner...

The Crab Bee Hoon was very good. They used thin bee hoon which absorbs the flavour very well. The bee hoon was simmered perfectly with the crab roe. TASTY is the only word, I can describe this dish. The crab is excellent. The pincers are large and the meat is full.

Signature Home-made Beancurd is GREAT!

Sambal Chilli Kang Kong were pretty well-done.

The damage was SGD92

If you are seafood connoisseur with high expectation tastebud, this is the place you ought to try but don’t expect paying the cze char price. Ming Kee Live Seafood is an excellent place for fresh seafood. A very satisfying experience overall. The standard of the food is great.
