'Unknown', originally titled 'Unknown White Male' is a thriller film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. This film is based on a French novel published in English - 'Out of my Head' in 2003 by Didler van Cauwelaert.
Dr Martin Harris (Played by Liam Neeson) is a botantist who arrives in Berlin with his wife, Liz(Starring January Jones) for a conference. After forgetting something at the airport, he takes a taxi to get it back. Due to a traffic jams, the taxi driver decided to take a short-cut, but the car crashes into a river. His life is saved by the taxi driver, Gina (played by Diane Kruger). When Martin wakes up in a hospital, he discovers that he has been in coma for the past 4 days. Soon later, he discovers that another man Martin B (starring Aidan Quinn) has taken his identity and replaced him in every way. Even his wife doesn't seem to recognize him as her husband. Martin Harris tries to uncover the truth behind the case of identity theft. As the investigation goes, seem like he is being tailed by others and they are after his life for some reasons.

'Unknown' has received mixed to postives reviews, this movie is well-paced and contain a well rounded cast. Truly a solid thriller. Liam Neeson executes a great performance that connects well with the audience. I am impressed with the mystery thriller. The film-makers create layers of mysteries which are hard for the audience to have a second guess, peel them one by one to reveal the true answer.
