Pink Grapefruit & Elderflower
Spritz - An extremely light and refreshing
combination of ripe pink grapefruit and subtle elderflower.
Le Spicy Mangue Collins - A thirst quenching and Interesting
blend of mango mad lime with a slight hint of chilli.
I attended the exclusive media session with Chef Jacques Pourcel at Delifrance Cafe at Habourfront Centre in conjunction of the Délifrance 30th Anniversary Celebration.
I had Le Spicy Mangue Collins (Spicy Mango) during the event, and the drink did complement the Michelin sandwich, Le Paris - Singapore pretty well.
My friends and I had some light refreshments while waiting for the demonstration session to start.
Taking group photos or cam-whoring will never be
omitted or voided in any events… Hahahaha!!
I took pictures with lovely Cindy (:
Chef
Jacques Pourcel was invited to grace the
event and he flew in specially to kick off Delifrance's 30th Anniversary
celebration with the launch of his special creation. He demonstrated the fine
art of sandwich making and shares his inspiration during the presentation.
We were glad to create our very own Michelin
sandwiches with the help of Chef Jacques
Pourcel.
The ingredients needed for Le
Paris-Singapore
French
Rustic Baguette
Mayonnaise
Thai Chilli Sauce
Wakame (Japanese Algae)
French Baby Spinach
Roast chicken
Le Paris-Singapore is a mix of artisan French authentic bakery and an Asian flavour, which
is a unique association between mayonnaise & oyster spread which bring roundness
to the Thai chilli roast chicken and the tantalising taste is also reinforced by
the Wakame (Japanese algae) and juicy pineapple slices as a whole.
Specially imported from France, the
softness of Délifrance’s French rustic baguette adds on lightness and a
delicate aroma of fresh cream and sweet almond to the whole creation.
We had fun making our sandwiches and I took this
opportunity to take photos with renowned
1-star Michelin Chef, Jacques Pourcel.
I am glad to be part of the momentous occasion, and
Happy Anniversary!!
Lastly, thanks Délifrance for the lovely colorful macarons and the kind hospitality!!
