Dinner at Simplicité + Mcdonald's Limited-Edition French Fries & Burger Pocket Pouches

On a random weekend, Baby brought me to Simplicité which is located at Changi Road! It is a Parisian-style Cafe in the day, and a laid-back neighbourhood bar in the evenings!





Simplicité also has a wide array of drinks—from coffee, mocktails to cocktails. Baby ordered the signature La Simplicité cocktail which comes with quite a show.

We shared the Duck Confit, and it was perfect. The crackling duck skin was seasoned and pan-fried with a generous amount of brown sauce, a serving of broccoli, corn, and a bed of mashed potatoes!

We ordered their newest tapas addition - Guacamole & Chips for sharing, and it turned out to be a great one! This dish simply left us licking our fingers.


They were having an in-house collaboration with Keong Saik Bakery, so we ordered a dessert to share - Muah Chee Croissant Cube.


It is filled with Black sesame paste and topped with crushed peanut candy. I loved the Muah Chee (mochi) texture when biting into the charcoal croissant cube.


Baby and I spent our Fri-date at Tampopo which is located at Takashimaya Shopping Centre. This eatery place is well-known for their Kuro Buta, and the main agenda of making this visit was that we needed to redeem our SGD38 welcome voucher before the expiry, which was the end of August 2024.

The next voucher received will be his SGD20 voucher that is to be used during his birthday month! YAY! Feel like I am going to dine in again at Tampopo real soon...

Mcdonald's has again offered something to 'die for'- the Limited-Edition French Fries & Burger Pocket Pouches! Singaporeans are crazy over such items, and I was not surprised to hear they were sold out within hours on the launch day!

The design of the Burger Pocket Pouch is made to look like melted cheese with beef patties. I love the burger zip charm!

The French Fries Pocket Pouch is designed to look like a pack of McDonald's iconic fries and even the zip has a charm in the shape of it too!


Both pouches have keychain clasps on the top so I can hook the pouches to my backpack! Great for travelling overseas, as I can put my hotel room key and coins into them!

There was a Watsons Recycle with Axis-Y campaign at Jem, one can redeem a complimentary Mini Glow Kit with every empty skincare bottle recycled. Luckily with the help from the Lee Family, they helped me to secure a kit for me! Thanks so much ❤️

This kit is great for a staycation or a short vacation!

I end my post with my frog porridge dinner date with SM at Geylang Lorong 19! The line was insane, we waited for 30mins for the table, and another 60mins for our food to be served to us! The wait was kinda compensated by the delicious food!



The food served here was splendid, and I will be coming back again soon!

Lastly, I received many cute gifts from ChewyJas who just came back from her Taiwan trip! Thanks babe, for the lovely gifts!
