Passion for food

On a random day, Baby picked me up @ Vivo City... We went down to the western side area of Singapore, along South Buona Vista Road… There is a popular eatery place called Lim Seng Lee Duck Rice Eating House '林成利鴨飯餐室'. They are famous for their Teochew Boneless Duck…

We ordered Braised Duck Meat Platter for 2
Mashed Tofu
Braised Eggs

The duck meat was thinly and finely sliced covered with thick & sticky gravy (Lu zhi) and was delicious. One good point was the duck meat was not oily at all. BEST for me :) Another added bonus is that meat is boneless, which is best for lazy people like me... Haha!

We had a filing dinner... The damage was SGD17.

Although the braised duck meat appears to be very ordinary, but it tastes really good... The meat was tender and smooth... Great to go along with the sweet vinegar chilli sauce dip.

Nothing beats having braised duck meat with a bowl of porridge and an braised egg. Lim Seng Lee Duck Rice Eating House definitely serves one of the BEST Braised Duck Rice in Singapore.

Baby brought my parents & I for CNY dinner last weekend... We went to Wo Peng Restaurant 和平饭店 at MacPherson Road for a wonderful dinner...

'Wo Peng' brings you the real, authentic Hong Kong style Cantonese taste. Serve homemade Dim Sum, country style boiled soup, hometown specialities and Guangzhou Barbecues.

We ordered 'Yu Sheng'... 撈魚生 for a prosperous year ahead;

Uber delicious - Brasied Pig Trotter with Sea Cucumber & Mushroom

The meat is tender and smooth... The gravy enhanced the savoury taste of the whole dish

Crispy Fish Skin with Superior Hong Kong Style soup was pretty good too... Love the crispy-ness of the fish skin and the soup was GREAT.

Broccoli with Fresh Prawns & Scallops tasted nice but the portion was kinda little for us....

Due to festive hoilday, the price was rather at the high side... Our total damage was SGD149. Thanks Baby for CNY treat!
