Saint Valentine's Day ; Our courtly love flourishes

Baby & I love Italian Cuisine... Baby brought me to a quiet place for our Valentine's Celebration... This popular eatery place has been relocated to Serangoon Gardens from Chinatown Square. This restaurant bears an unique and simple name, called 'buono'.
'buono' is a Italian word and it means 'good' in English, use often on food remarks.
Even though it is situated in the residential areas, 'buono' is determined to make a name for itself through word of mouth by ensuring that every customer has a pleasant and rewarding Italian experience such that they will bring their loved ones along the next time. 'buono' is making the effort in winning the hearts of food-lovers through its expertise in Italian food.

'buono' bears a positive attitude in providing great food to all their customers. I am definitely pleased to know that they have brought a spread of tasty Italian cuisines into the heartlands...

A simple and unpretentious setting, the wooden tables and chairs exudes a rustic feel. 'buono' adopts an open concept to showcase the process of pizza making. Diners like us can watch the chef preparing their pizzas at the oven while having their meal.

I noticed that there were poker cards pasted on the ceiling... Out of curiosity, I took the pix and realised that on each poker card, were written some best wishes and thank you notes from the patrons...

We ordered the Valentine's Day 4-course Set Dinner... Affordable yet uber delicious (: Thanks Baby for the wonderful arrangement.

Baby took a series of pictures of me when I was busy playing 'Words with Friends'... Think he was bored lah... Cos I was too engrossed with the iphone's game.... Hahaha!

Our set dinner comes with an Italian Welcome Drink - Prosecco with Peach Juice for 2....

~ Toasts for blissful years ahead for us ~

Our set dinner started with Six pieces of Oysters

2 Raw Oysters, 2 Grated Oysters with Mozzarelle & 2 Grated Oysters with Bacon & Cheese

Among all, I love the Grated Oysters with Bacon & Cheese the best...

Salmon in Olive Oil was AWESOME!

I love the Linguine 'LIVE' Lobster in Seafood Sauce... The lobster was fresh and juicy. The seafood sauce enhanced the savoury taste of whole dish.

Tuna Fillet in Lemon Sauce and Mix Salad was pretty good too... Love the freshness of the fish and the sauce was great!

Panacotta with Mix Berry as our dessert to conclude the whole dinner celebration.

To mark our celebration, we went to Liquid Kitchen @ Maju Avenue... Yes! Cocktail time as our last segment for this special day...

We ordered Sea Breeze & Jaeger Bomb

We shared 'Sweet Nothings' - Belgian Waffles with Vanilla Ice-cream
Our 'Sweet Nothings' is pretty good... The waffles were crispy and I love the overall taste of this dessert...
