[random] Dinner at Mui Kee Congee + Ichi Restaurant & Bar + Na Na Original Thai

After work, we went for dinner at Mui Kee Congee on a random weekday. This popular eatery place is located at Shaw Centre.

We ordered the Homemade Pork Meatball Congee, and there was actually a hint of 'wok hei' in the porridge! I also picked up a bowl of Crispy Fried Fritters (You Tiao) to go along with my porridge.

The Beef Brisket was the highlight of our meal, as both of us really enjoyed the generous portions of the beef meat/tenderloin and each piece of meat tasted awesomely good and tender.

Mui Kee Congee is definitely worth a try if you want to experience porridge with 'wok hei'. The whole eatery place has strong Cantonese/Hong Kong vibes, and the service here was fairly efficient.

Recently, I picked up some Four’N Twenty Pies from FairPrice for our BBQ Party.

The pies are made of 100% Australian beef in delicious gravy which are wrapped in golden pastry! The pies have a great taste and are of a irresistible flavor, and are easy and quick to prepare! It takes less than 10 minutes in an Air-fryer, or only 2 minutes in a microwave.

They are really simple to prepare and are great for people busy with work and need a refuel throughout the day or if you just wish to eliminate hunger pangs at home!

I decided to make Otah Puff for brekkie, and before giving it the air-fry treatment, I sprinkled some sesame seeds on them. It's best served hot when the puffs are crispy. Both of us enjoyed the puffs, and it is so easy to prepare that I will make them again soon!

As Chewy’s birthday is around the corner, we decided to give her a dinner treat at her own choice of a restaurant. She picked the Ichi Restaurant & Bar which is located at Clarke Quay. It is a casual dining restaurant and bar serving a selection of Japanese fusion cuisine, beers, cocktails and live music.

We ordered a Salmon Pizza, Teriyaki Salmon Soba, Unagi Don, Crispy Lotus and a complimentary platter to share among the three of us. The total damage was SGD152-ish, and it was pretty pricey! Oh well, nothing beats meeting up one another for a nice chit chat session.

Sawadee Ka! Na Na Original Thai is one of the Thai restaurants in Singapore that offers authentic Thai cuisine. After the closure of Golden Mile Complex in May, Na Na Original Thai moved over to Aperia Mall. Both Baby and I love Thai food so much, so we decided to visit Na Na Original Thai.

The most impressive dish I have ordered for dinner that night was the Tom Yam Seafood Soup. It is served in a vintage ceramic pot! With such, the soup in this pot can be kept warm because of the stove at the bottom. They are quite generous with the portion and ingredients in the soup.

We enjoyed our dinner very much, and we definitely come back again!

Baby brought me for an after-work dinner at Din Tai Fung on a random Friday. We settled at the outlet located at Marina Bay Sands (MBS). We had a heart-warming meal, and I enjoyed every moment dining together.

I am going to end my post with my recent weekday dinner at IM-EM Restaurant which is located at Aperia Mall. We had a nice Thai food fix, as each dish tasted pretty good!

Lastly, before I end this post, I recently had a dinner gathering with my 2 ex-colleagues, S and I. We had a delightful dinner with them at Xiabu Xiabu which is located at Lazada One, off Bra Basah Road.
