Dinner at A Beautiful Day Café Tea Room + Chloe & Robin Wedding celebration
It has been a while since our last meet up which was early this year where we met up with one another during the CNY period. Ivy arranged for a gathering session with me, S, R and E at the Café Kreams, which is located within Maxwell Chambers, and this Autumn Themed Café is not to be missed!
We were immediately drawn into the café's entire ceiling, as it was bedecked in autumnal shades of red, orange, yellow and brown, which made me feel like I had been transported to the fall season. The strategically placed tree trunks around the space also added to the aesthetic vibe. This autumnal experience was truly one-of-a-kind, and I felt that it would be a great place for a gathering with friends or to go on a couple date.
My niece, Chloe has settled down with her Mexican boyfriend, Robin, and they threw their wedding solemnization and dinner at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay.
I love the viewing area, as it looked fabulous with all the props and framed photos!
During the dinner, there were some engaging games with the invitees, and HayBoy walked home with a power-bank after participating in a Q&A session.
I loved the Wedding Favors, as it was all about scents & fragrances! We enjoyed the dinner very much! Lastly, congrats to the both of you and thanks for the invitation!
To celebrate my promotion, I brought Baby to Long Beach which is located at East Coast Park for a crabby feast. This restaurant is famous for their fresh wholesome catch from the ocean and their skills in serving up the finest range of seafood.
Apart from ordering the crabs, we also ordered Bamboo Clams, Fried Tofu with Thai Chilli Sauce and Seafood Fritters. We had their most-raved Black Pepper Crab, and the crab meat was super-duper tasty and fresh too.
The damage was almost SGD200, which we felt was a little pricey, but we enjoyed our dinner on the whole!
Baby and I settled our dinner at PLQ PARKSIDE - Park Place Residences. We visited 'A Beautiful Day Café Tea Room + miniBAR', and upon entering the premises, I was greeted by a Victorian Chinoiserie style looking room with grand looking chairs and a fake fireplace.
This eatery place collaborated with Hendrick’s Gin, in celebration of World Cucumber Day, and there were 3 types of different tonic variants available to choose from. We redeemed a glass of Hendrick’s Gin each. I picked up the Hendrick’s Flora Adora & Tonic while Baby had Hendrick’s & Tonic. Thanks for drinks on the house!
Being a first timer visitor, we were surprised that the menu does not really have any English Breakfast items or any English teas, but a large portion of the menu is taken up by items that would never have been on a dining table in Victorian England.
