[random] Prada Silver Line Pop up Store + Soi 47 Thai Food + Breko Cafe

Baby and I meet up for dinner almost every day after work, and recently we settled again for a meal at LeNu, a Taiwanese Beef Noodle joint which is located at VivoCity. We started off with two different appetisers. There was the 'Chilled Silken Cold Tofu with Century Egg', and 'Sugar Coated Chilli Anchovies'. We loved the appetisers very much. The damage was about SGD38-ish, and thanks Baby for the treat!

 

 

Finally, our No-Car days are over! To celebrate, Baby brought me to a new Thai eatery place which is located at King George Road. The small restaurant is called Soi 47 Thai Food.

 

 

We started off with the Thai Prawn Cake, and it tasted super yummy! 

 

 

We also ordered a bowl of Clear Tom Yum Soup. The spiciness level was way too much for us to handle, but I think it is pretty authentic. If you can stomach the spiciness, the food does come with a generous portion of seafood, which included fried fish and prawns. 

 

 

 

 

The total damage was about SGD30 with 2 drinks! 

 

 

I went down to the Paragon Shopping Centre to board the most stylish train in town. It is set to resemble the American Streamliners of the 30s and 50s. Singapore is the final stop in Asia for the pop up store, and I was rather lucky to catch the train on the very last day!

 

 

 

The Prada robots looked so interesting, that Baby couldn't resist taking multiple photos of them!

 

 

Nothing beats spending quality time with the family and loved ones on a non-working day for working adults. Baby brought me to Breko Cafe to chill out on a random Wednesday afternoon. The Breko Cafe is located at the heart of Holland Village, and it bears a casual dining vibe. We enjoyed a Happy Hour Beer promotion! Apart from having beers, we also shared a 'Brekkie on a Pan' and Sweet Potatoes Fries! The total damage was about SGD45. 

 

I end my post with my weekend JB dinner at Restoran Pou Wok which is located at Mount Austin. We enjoyed the dishes of 'Yong Tau Foo', and 'Bittergourd with Salted Egg' very much! We ordered 3 dishes + 1 soup (三菜一汤), and the total damage was RM50.
