[SDS] Mooncake Hunt at AEON Mall Tebrau City

The Mid-Autumn Festival is around the corner and SDS has introduced many giveaway activities to promote their signature mooncakes.

We were invited to join in on one of their activities, the 'Mooncake Hunt'! This invite was given to influencers and was held at the AEON Mall, Tebrau City. The Mooncake Hunt was conducted by giving the participants a list of riddles & clues, which would assist in hunting down the mooncakes and some additional gifts from various sponsors that were hidden throughout the mall!

Jiaying and I teamed up to complete the mission, and we had so much fun hunting the mooncakes and taking photos as proof of clearing the stages! Through this fun game, it helped to build upon personal relations, and Jiaying and I became closer after the game! A toast to our friendship!

SDS Mooncakes are available at the festive booths in major shopping malls throughout Johor Bahru, and these include KSL City, Sutera Mall, JB City Square, Paradigm Mall JB, The Store JB, Giant Plentong, AEON Mall Bukit Indah, AEON Mall Tebrau City, AEON Mall Kulaijaya and AEON Mall Permas Jaya!

Generations after generation, SDS keeps their passion in traditional mooncakes, and developed more new and fusion modern flavors to cater their customers! This year, SDS has introduced the all new Nyonya Mooncake, infusing Nyonya sambal into a traditional baked skin mooncake which surely creates a distinct Malaysian flavor!

SDS's all-time favorite signature mooncake is the Kingu Dorian Yuki, which is made of 100% Musang King Durian flesh. It has always been the top seller of the SDS Yukino Frozen Mooncake Series. SDS is the first creator of Yukino Mooncake in Malaysia. It draws inspiration from Japanese Mochi, and what SDS has done is to combine Japanese Mochi with Snowskin mooncakes! It is suitable especially, for the hot and humid malaysian weather due to the mooncake's chilled and smooth texture, which I felt was akin to ice cream!

There is another brand-new flavor which is worth a mention, and it's the 'Matcha Akai Yuki' Frozen Mooncake. It's been newly introduced by SDS to bring customers closer to a Japanese styled Mid-Autumn festival!

I love the mooncake storage tin a.k.a piggy bank which consisted of 2 traditional mooncakes. I tasted the Pandan Paste Mooncake and it tasted fabulous. The sweetness is just right for me, and it is worth both my two thumbs up!

Thanks SDS for the kind hospitality and special thanks to Ms Alice Loh, the Marketing Manager of SDS for the invite!
