2D1N KL Getaway!

I had a short getaway to Kuala Lumpur (KL) on a weekend by Tiger Air!! Our flight was 7-ish in the morning, and we reached the airport pretty early on a Saturday. The moment we landed in KLIA2, it was time for brekkie. As usual, Daddy Mike picked up us from the airport, and we still maintained our usual habit of having Bak Kut Teh for our breakfast. The joint that we normally go to is Restoran Chuan Chiew! This eatery is at Subang Jaya SS14, and if you are nearby, do give it a try!

We checked in to the Sunway Lagoon Resort for a night's stay. The room was spacious and clean.

After dropping our bags off, we went for some shopping at Sunway Pyramid, and we settled for a meal at Go Noodle House at Emipre Shopping Gallery. This eatery place serves different types of delicious noodles.
 
At night, we went for a 'Lo Hei' session cum CNY dinner at Kelantan Golf Negara Subang (KGNS). Thanks Daddy Mike for the lovely dinner.
 
 
The next day! Our room stay was inclusive of breakfast, so we headed down to the cafe to enjoy the buffet spread!
 

 
We rested for a while after our hearty breakfast. Our typical routine during a staycation will always consist of a chilling/relaxing session at the hotel's swimming pool.
 

 
We checked out around 1pm, and we headed straight down to the shopping mall to do more shopping. As our flight back to Singapore was around 10-ish at night, we had plenty of time on the last day. We had dinner with the folks before heading to the airport.

[Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
