[Fall Italy Vacation] Day 06: Shopping at The Firenze Mall

We had a quick breakfast at the hotel before heading to our shopping venue. Before travelling to Italy, I did some research for outlet-styled malls, and I found a place named The Firenze Mall which is located at Florence.

Prior to our arrival to Florence, we purchased the bus tickets to The Firenze Mall online, and the journey took us about 45 minutes to reach the destination.

Once we arrived, we headed to Baby’s favorite brand - Gucci, and it had an unbelievably long line (no surprise), so we joined the line too. The Gucci outlet is huge!

Baby picked up a Gucci Men's Laptop Messenger bag which was going on sale for a very discounted price of €660 (about SGD924) and a wallet at €295 (about SGD413).

For me, I picked up a Gucci Interlocking G logo-plaque Leather Chain Crossbody Bag at €890 (about SGD1246). I also went over to the Versace outlet store to pick up the La Versace Medusa Lambskin Leather Wallet at €295 (about SGD406). Both of us felt that they were pretty affordable to purchase in Italy.

The payment queue was horrendous, and Baby waited about 20mins in line!

Whether you are in Florence or in any other Italian city, do try to look for an outlet! I will definitely recommend a visit here if time permits. Maybe you can hunt down a discounted version of the designer item that you’re lusting for! A deal is still a deal!

We settled our lunch at Antico Caffe Forino which is located within the premises of The Firenze Mall. We had pasta, and it tasted normal to us, nothing special to shout about!

After our meal, we took the bus back to Florence City Centre, then we walked back to our hotel to off-load our loots before heading out to explore the the city and then eventually to have dinner. We settled in a small and quaint restaurant nearby the San Lorenzo Outdoor Market.

Apart from our favorite pasta, we also ordered the Cold Cut Platter to share between us!

I had the Classic Florentine Mushroom Pasta, while Baby had Vongole Pasta. We loved our pasta very much, and we had a delightful dinner on our last night in Florence.

Stay tuned for my next outing, as we left Florence and travelled to another place in Italy – 2D 1N at Cinque Terre via La Spezia.
