Weekend Dim Sum Brunch
Went for Dim Sum Brunch @ Victoria Peak Chinese Cuisine – Orchard Central on a random weekend... Our usual haunt for Dim Sum :)
We ordered :-
Our 'MUST ORDER' item – Pan–Fried Carrot Cake, we both enjoy it loads!
The filling for the Siew Mai was pretty tasty and juicy.
The dough was soft for the Char Siew Bao and that was an added bonus but this time round, the filling tasted abit funny… That was kinda disappointing.
Scallop Rice Roll was pretty normal, nothing to shout about... as usual the soy sauce made up for it.
Fried Noodles was very really bad, it looked lifeless and tasteless, I personally feel that this bowl of noodles has been over-charged… Not worth SGD6.80. We gave our 4 thumbs down for it.

Pan-Fried Glutinous Rice tasted really good... I enjoyed every bit of it. Worth trying!
Century Egg Porridge was delicious… Smooth at the throat.
Steamed Spare Ribs with Black Bean was normal, nothing to shout about...
Fresh Scallops wrapped in translucent skin, taste okay… I love the sweetness of the scallops
Overall, we were both satisfied with the food... Most of all, the staff are very attentive and friendly. The damage was SGD50.85 (after 30% disc). A pretty hefty price to pay for brunch.
