Cocktail / Dinner Party @ Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel

Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel is located at the eastern side of Singapore and just a few minutes away from Changi International Airport. Lately, they just unveiled their newly renovated fourth level facilities. Examples of the major facilities is the 11 new Deluxe Poolside Rooms with Terrace...

The all-new Deluxe Poolside Rooms are spacious with a cabana style look, this room comes with free Wi-Fi, a comfortable king size bed and can fit one extra roll-away bed. This is definitely an ideal choice for families with children...

What's best about the room is, all rooms come with a private terrace and this will lead to a direct access to the swimming pool...

The poolside bears two decks, the upper and lower decks have been re-designed to give the landscape a more contemporary and stylist twist.

I love the casual modern setting at Breez Bistro Bar, and I can't help myself from taking photos at the poolside area.

After visiting the rooms, we were lead to the poolside area, where the Breez Bistro Bar is located... We enjoyed the cocktail reception specially prepared for us, nothing beats yummy treats and peaceful ambience...

I love yummy food!!

Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel is so kind to prepare us the six-course dinner at Jia Wei Chinese Restaurant.

Upon stepping into the restaurant, I was greeted by a simplistic yet classy ambience... Featuring contemporary design and décor amidst a fine-dining ambiance, Jia Wei Chinese Restaurant offers modern and exquisite fusion Chinese cuisines created by its award-winning chef.

The master chef of Jia Wei Chinese Restaurant gave us a introduction speech before our dinner commenced.

He is kinda camera shy!!

While waiting for the food to be served, Sweetie and I did our favourite thingy - Cam-whoring

First Course - 4 different kinds of Dim Sum, I enjoyed very much...

Siew Mai with Cordyceps Flower

Deep Fried Seafood roll with Mixed Fruit

Deep Fried Prawn Dumpling with Shark's Fin

Steamed Scallop Dumpling

Double Boiled Fish Maw with Cordyceps Flower, Abalone and Conpoy was next up

The soup tasted great, with the generous ingredients used in the soup, it is definitely worth the money...

One of the 'MUST ORDER' from the menu list...

My all-time favourite - Beijing Duck was fabulous and tasted uber delicious.

Deep Fried Butter Prawns

The prawn meat was succulent when you eat it together with the gravy...

Braised Beancurd with Luffa melon, Crabmeat and Crab Roe.

Lastly, the local delight - Laksa from Feast @ East was served to us, tasted alright but kinda spicy for my taste-buds.

To round up our dinner, they prepared for us the Durian Paste and Durian Cake Delight as our desserts.

Remember never leave Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel without trying the desserts from Feast @ East, as their most commendable dessert is Durian Paste. It is super rich... Good stuff indeed!

I had a really wonderful experience at Cocktail / Dinner Party @ Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel.

Many thanks to OMY for organizing this event A BIG THANK YOU to Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel for the kind hospitality :)
