Sail on in style with Timberland's new Rough Seas Collection

I was so happy to witness the Timberland's new Rough Seas range,  all thanks to HP for extending his invite to me... Appreciate loads!!

The theme of this event fits the venue... The event was held at Pierside, One Fullerton. This alfresco dining space on the waterfront is situated in dramatic location at the confluence of Singapore’s oldest pier, and the fantastic skyline of the city’s marina.

Through the new innovation from Timberland's latest Rough Seas range, outdoor enthusiasts can look forward to sail off in style and equip active people with revolutionary and long lasting gear that will keep them comfortable on land and at sea.

Sweetie and I were both invited by HP... We are both sport gear lovers (:

Leather shoes comes with an exclusive Anti-Fatigue Technology to provide comfort and light-weight cushioning all times. They are made of premium leather to resist against any abrasions.

Slip-resistant Gripstick Rubber sole was introduced to the latest Rough Seas collection to provide added grip on wet and dry surfaces...

The ion-mask technology by P2i is the perfect shoes for those who have a love affair with the open sea, and with this technology it will keep wearers comfortably dry by repelling liquid from the outside while maintaining ventilation, therefore remaining odourless free.

Timberland understands the need of women and their preferences... They want products that look good on them but at the same time make them feel good too.

Time for some R&R time before exploring more collections from Timberland... We took some photos from the photo booth, Sweetie & I posed ourselves with the props provided (:

A handful of bloggers posed infront of the photo booth with the props, we had so much fun there...

Apart from the Rough Seas range, I was more attracted to their Earthkeeper's collection... The whole series of collection was made of recycled items. That was an awesome gesture to save our mother earth...

I can't believe my ears when the personnel told me that... OMG! That was unbelievable and I was totally speechless while looking at the amazing collection.

They recycled the coffee grounds in jackets and bags to reduce unwanted odours...

Can you believe that the recycled coffee grounds were used for making this bag? To be honest, I don't believe it but the fact is YES!

These are the materials that are used to make the gear...

Have you ever thought that it is made from the recycled material?

To complement the Rough Seas footwear range, Timberland steps up to mark with equally stylish and durable apparel for both genders. The jackets are breathable and waterproof, and therfore wearers are kept cool, dry and comfortable at all times.

With the Cooltouch Polyster's help, wearers can be kept warm from strong winds and protects the wearers from harmful sun rays as theb fabric has a UPF rating of 30+. A perfect addition to a sea-lover's wardrobe.

Time to witness the goodness of Cooltouch

  Cotton fabric
Cooltouch fabric
Both fabrics were being dabbed with water and they were both placed under the hair dryer at the same time... After a few mins, the result was that the cooltouch fabric is able to absorb the water much faster, thus it dries faster than normal cotton fabric.

Yummy bites were served during the event too...

Time for photo session for all the bloggers...

Check out the Rough Seas collection from any Timberland outlets in March 2012!!

Thanks Timberland for the invite and a BIG THANK YOU for the kind hospitality :)
