Nothing beats having great food

It's been a long time since I had a crabby feast... I am craving for it so much that my lovely Baby brought me to House of Seafood @ 180... This restaurant is famous for their fresh wholesome catch from the ocean and their skills in serving up the finest range of seafood and the most delicious mouth watering crabs to all their patrons...

It is usually very packed on weekends, but we still headed down to the eatery place without making any reservation... We crossed our fingers hoping to get a seat, and we did it... We were allocated a seat once we reached the place... *PHEW*

Apart from ordering the crabs... We ordered Special Signature Fried Rice to share between us...

The fried rice tasted great and we savoured every bit of it

How can we not ordered the Mini Buns (Man tou) to go along with our chilli crab...

The chilli gravy was pretty alright, but the crab meat was super duper tasty and fresh too. I love the crab very much...

The damage was SGD78.30, which we felt it was a little pricey... However, we enjoyed our dinner as a whole... We read some reviews for this eatery place, they were raving about their Black Pepper Crabs, therefore we will be back again to try out their most-raved about Black Pepper Crabs...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have been searching for good Fish & Chips with a crispy batter, eversince we came back from UK last November as we kinda missed the Fish & Chips in London... Baby spotted a feature review of the Smiths Authentic British Fish & Chips on the newspaper...

We decided to give it a try, so Baby drove down to Tanjong Katong where the authentic British Fish & Chips  is located... The eatery place gave us a laid back feeling with simple table setting. There were a few selections of fish types to choose from... We made our choices, I had Dory while Baby had Halibut...

True enough, the food was served exactly in the British style, normally when having Fish & Chips in UK, the fish was served right out of the deep fryer and immediately wrapped up in paper with a very generous portion thick cut chips...

My cut dory was fried marvellously golden brown without losing the sweetness and freshness of the Dory fish. If you are okay with malt vinegar, do add some to the chips, it will make the chips taste better and addictive...

The damage was SGD35.50... A rather hefty price to pay for 2 wrapped of Fish & Chips, oh well, I think it was still worthwhile, as how often can you find authentic Fish & Chips in Singapore...
