A hiking date at The Rail Corridor + Instagram-worthy Bistro at SAFRA Yishun

On a random weekend, RKM went out on a late afternoon hiking date at The Rail Corridor. We simply couldn't resist taking a selfie against the truss bridge, as is it was perfect for an Instagram-worthy photo!

I took quite a number of OOTDS at the truss bridge!

On these truss bridges, there are two that have been conserved as heritage sites. These historic bridges are a rare sight in Singapore, and you can them along Bukit Timah Road near the railway station and near The Rail Mall at Upper Bukit Timah Road.

We walked to Singapore Quarry and I took a tired yet hilarious photo as wearing a mask to hike is no joke. I totally hate this feeling, so please consider allowing us to take off our masks while walking in an open air nature reserve areas!

We are moving out of the northern part of Singapore soon, so Baby and I are trying to explore as many food gems and interesting food venues as possible in the up north of Singapore such as Yishun, Woodlands or Sembawang.

Baby came across a newly opened bistro by HaveFun Karaoke at SAFRA Yishun. The whole area is full of Instagram-worthy decors. I love their vibrant and aesthetic decorations which are the perfect background for photos.

We ordered some finger food for our afternoon tea time! We had Satay, Crispy Breaded Prawn and a teapot of Lavender Green Tea! The damage was about SGD30+.

I took a few photos at the premises before leaving the eatery place! Baby said that he will come back to try out their mains and to have some chill out night session with beer and cocktails!

I end my post with my Friday sumptuous dinner at Karu’s Indian Banana Leaf Restaurant which is located at The Grandstand. The next day, I had a delicious Saturday breakfast at Yishun. I had the Ipoh Curry Chee Cheong Fun. We queued for only 15min, as compared to my colleague who went there on Sunday afternoon, and she waited almost 1hr to get her food.
