Meryl's birthday celebration + CeraVe Skincare event
3 days before Meryl’s actual birthday, Chewy and I arranged for a dinner celebration at AI Cafe & Bistro, which is located at Jalan Besar area, a walking distance less than 5-minutes away from Lavender MRT Station.
We started off with their side dishes such as Cheese Stick, Prawn Cake and Golden Prawn Pancake.
We ordered some signature main
items. Recommended items are the 'Lobster Pao Fan', Fish & Chips, and
Hainanese Pork Chop Rice!
As the Birthday-Girl is a big fan of Barbie, ChewyJas decided to surprise her by getting her the limited time Barbie-themed doughnuts by Crispy Kreme. These doughnuts are only available in September, making it more memorable as she is a September Baby!
On the other hand, I also met up with Tracy for a Sunday date, who is also a September Baby. We had our brunch at Home Dawn which is located at Clarke Quay.
We visited Le Cafe Vie5 on a random weekend. It is a hidden Viet gem in Taiseng / Upper Paya Lebar and the place serves up speciality Vietnamese coffee and tasty cakes and gelato.
We will definitely be popping by again to try
out their main items!
I attended the CeraVe Skincare event on World Eczema Day! The event was held at Fingers Crossed Studio, and it is located along Mackenzie Road.
I loved the carnival styled games, as we had fun engaging in those interactive games which designed to educate and entertain.
Lastly, we were glad to be among the first few to try out the products!
We took a photo from the photo corner and we were given a print-out photo for keep sake!
Thanks for the generous goodies bag! Can’t wait to add them into my beauty regime!
Baby and I had our lunch at Yin Ji Chang Fen 银记肠粉店 which is located at Far East Square. I had the rice roll, and it did not disappoint me. The rice noodle is soft and thin but was robust enough to have some chew to it. Most importantly, it doesn’t lose its texture!
I end my post with my Week 2 Crocs
Sets from McDonald’s!
