I was invited to a private screening event @ The Screening Room, and I am pleased to witness the first Korean Superhero action series, HERO.

We were all seated for the screening to begin...

Celestial Movies, the biggest 24-hour Chinese movie service in Asia and beyond will debut the first and exclusive broadcast big-budget Korean action drama, HERO. The two main key actor and actress as below
Yang Dong-Geun
Han Chae-Ah

I took a photo with Terence while waiting for the show to start...

The first 2 episodes incurred a hefty US$1 million production budget, HERO premiered as the #1 programme in its timeslot among all cable channels in Korea in March 2012. The 10-episode drama series will fill your days with maximum action.

We got the privileges to watch the first 2 episode of HERO… In the first episode, it tells us that Mooyoung is a port which once dreamed of becoming the financial center of Asia, but the local government and public companies have gone bankrupt. Heuk-Chul (starring Yang Dong-Guen), the son of the city’s mayor, is caught in the cross-fire of a police sting and is hit by a bullet which was actually meant for the beautiful detective, Ih-Ohn (played by Han Chae-Ah). He falls into a coma and his father convinces the doctors to use an untested technology to revive him.

The second episode – Heuk-Chul returns alive. After his near-death experience, he discovers he has super powers. He decides to use his new ability to fight crime and corruption in the city. But little does he know that the source of all the corruption and crime is closer then he thinks.

Canapés and drinks were served throughout the whole private screening event

We took several group photos against the HERO poster photo-wall and after that we had close to 100 minutes of action and fight scenes which increased adrenaline levels of viewers.

A big thank you from us… Thanks for the invite!!
