Dinner @ RakuZen Japanese Restaurant

During my trip to Kuala Lumpur (KL) two weeks ago, I visited the Empire Shopping Gallery (ESG), and it is a stylish shopping destination in Subang Jaya. There are over 180 splendid stores inside this 6-level shopping building. Apart from doing some shopping in the mall, we also had settled our dinner there too...

We visited RakuZen Japanese Restaurant, and it has a comprehensive menu, with many choices in the sushi, sashimi, fried, and grilled selections.

We ordered some sashimi to start off for our meal, and we had Maguro Otoro and Maguro sashimi.

How can we ever forget our favorite Salmon Belly Sashimi, and each piece was nicely sliced and freshly tasty.

We had Asari Miso Soup, it tasted uber good.

Our California hand-rolls arrived shortly, it tasted normal, nothing to shout about.

Edamame, an all-time favorite appetiser for all Japanese.

I had Tempura Moriawase too, and I savored every bit of it.

We ordered our usual favorite Fried Salmon Head.

The highlight of the meal was the Wagyu Beef with Sukiyaki Sauce. Each slice was tender and simply melted in my mouth... It tasted even better eating it together with the crispy fried garlic slices.

OM! I can’t get enough of the luxurious Wagyu Beef... I am drooling over it now when I am writing this food post.

Lastly, we had hot Sake, an alcoholic beverage of Japanese origin that is made from fermented rice to round up our meal...

The damage was ‘WOW’ even though it was charged in Ringgit... The service was efficient and the staff were friendly but somewhat not paying attention when taking our orders, thus it resulted in a long waiting time for our orders to arrive on our table.
