History Quiz Night with Simon Yin

The successful History program Hidden Cities is back for a brand new season. The essence of the show is to bring an unique experience to the viewers. The show is all about locals so the Asians can connect with the host and the show too. Hidden Cities Extreme is a fast-paced 30-minute episode that is not your typical tourism fare.

The 35-year-old host, Simon Yin, who was once an MTV New York Video Jock of Taiwanese descent. He was raised in Atlanta, Georgia before he relocated to Hong Kong recently. He credits his mother for his outgoing attitude, as he was brought up without lacking in adventures.

In conjunction with the launch of HISTORY’s Ultimate History Quiz and a brand new season of Hidden Cities Extreme which premieres 29/October. I was glad that I was part of the celebration.

I was invited to the HISTORY Quiz Night with Simon Yin, Host of Hidden Cities which was held at the Crazy Elephant located at Clarke Quay.

I attended the event with William, Hong Peng and Jasmine

I love the sugary pastries (lollipops)

I picked up this, 'EAT FRESH'

While Jasmine took the 'SIMON SAYS'

We reached the venue pretty early, and this allowed us to choose our desired seating area…

We were given a welcome drink upon entering the premises. I love the skeleton graving of the shot glasses…

Simon Yin, host of Hidden Cities Extreme was at the party as the host of the night too. He mingled with the crowd and shared about his adventures from Hidden Cities Extreme with the attendees.

Apart from the free-flow of drinks, there was a buffet spread too for us to tuck in while enjoying ourselves during the HISTORY Quiz Night.

Simon Yin signed off with his autograph on the standee…
We challenged ourselves with the pub history quiz questions which ranged from general knowledge to popular culture. Our team won the first round, and we were entitled to a bottle of red wine. My team members gave it to me solely… Thanks pals!!

We had an enjoyable evening with Simon Yin and my besties/cliques, and it was an unforgettable experience indeed.
