Special Preview Screening of HELIOS

The movie, 'HELIOS' - is an action extravaganza film of terrorism that was directed by award-winning directors Longman Leung and Sunny Luk, who is also directed their other famous movie, 'Cold War'. They take their unique blend of politics and explosive action to this international film arena.

Thanks Clover Films for the tickets and 'HELIOS' premieres in Singapore and Hong Kong theatres on the 30th April 2015.

'HELIOS', a most-wanted criminal throughout the global, has stolen the latest weapon of mass destruction weapon, DC8 from South Korea. The movie hints at it being a small nuclear device with enough power to ravage Hong Kong.

The underground trading of the weapon was to take place in Hong Kong and this caused Hong Kong to be turned into a dangerous city overnight.

Jacky Cheung stands out in the movie with his excellent performance and Nick Cheung's top notch acting in a supporting role is worth a mention too.

Choi Si Won, member of the popular heartthrob KPOP group, Super Junior takes a role of an elite agent in South Korea, and he performs many dangerous stunts in the movie. I enjoy his high-speed motorcycle chase in Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui which is one of the highlights of the movie.

As we all know,  most of Hong Kong movies belong to the action genre, but I think Si Won blended well in the movie, even though his lines were all in Korean!

I love the last minute twist at the end of the story as it is pretty jaw-dropping, although the movie left off with a cliff-hanger after almost 2 hours of action scenes throughout the movie.

A well directed movie, the audience can expect another installment which should be as exciting as this movie. With all the unexpected plot twists and action scenes. I will look forward to the next installment. Don't keep us waiting too long, Mr Directors!
