Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay

Singapore’s most anticipated year-end festive event, 'Christmas Wonderland' is now open and welcomes visitors from now till the 26th of December!

I was invited together with CK and Geng Hui to attend the opening night of the official launch of Christmas Wonderland at the Gardens by the Bay.

Guest-of-honour Mr Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Trade and Industry for Singapore, alongside representatives Mr Chaly Mah, Chairman of Singapore Tourism Board, Ms Sarah Martin, Creative Director of Blue Sky Events, Mr Niam Chiang Meng, Chairman of Gardens by the Bay and Mr Felix Loh, CEO of Gardens by the Bay officially launched the event with the light-up of Asia’s tallest luminarie Christmas tree at the entrance of Gardens by the Bay. They were joined by Ms Loy Sheau Mei, Senior Vice Principal and students from Christmas Wonderland’s official adopted charity, Pathlight School.

Baby and I took a random photo against the brand new iconic luminarie light sculptures that are handmade from Italy. The pretty Christmas tree was illuminated in gold, and was very attractive!

One of the all-time favorite highlights at Christmas Wonderland is the crowd-favorite Blizzard Time, which enables visitors to experience ‘snow’ in the tropics.

Visitors can also look forward to free choral performances and Yuletide Sessions.

Unique gifts and treats are also in store at the Festive Market for all visitors to enjoy while food aficionados can head to the ‘Slice of SAVOUR’ to indulge in more exciting culinary offerings.

For even more excitement, tons of fun can be had at the fairground, as there are traditional carnival games, kiddy rides and a Gingerbread inflatable house!

The outdoor skating rink has also been expanded and will feature an eight-metre tall illuminated Christmas Tree nestled in the middle.

This year's Christmas Wonderland features a new Garden Rhapsody Christmas Light & Sound show, which is located at the Supertree Grove!

I loved watching the Supertrees come to life with multi-coloured illuminations that light up in sync, and had a specially curated soundtrack of all my favorite Christmas songs!!

For a truly enchanting Christmas, we made our way to meet Mr Santa Claus at his Alpine House within the 'Santa’s Grotto', which has been upgraded this year!

I took many random photos of the festive and kinetic light installations which I understand are from Germany. They were very Instaworthy, and I would recommend no one to miss out on this 400-square metre attraction if you do visit the Christmas Wonderland!

Thanks for having us at the event, and we had an enjoyable time at the Christmas Wonderland, especially at Santa’s Grotto! So gather your friends and family to celebrate this forth-coming Christmas at Gardens by the Bay.

Admission to Christmas Wonderland 2018 starts from SGD4. Additional charges apply for some attractions within the fair. Visitors can purchase their tickets online at www.christmaswonderland.sg or onsite at the ticketing booths
